Episode 6: The Blood Moon’s Omen

The door didn’t just slam shut—it sealed.

Naabi’s pulse raced as she grabbed the handle and yanked. It wouldn’t budge.

"You cannot leave."

The voice was everywhere. Whispering in her ears. Crawling under her skin.

Joon-woo banged on the wood, his breaths uneven. "This is insane!"

Min-kyu pressed his ear against the door. "The house has locked us in."

Jae-min scoffed. "Of course it has."

Then—

A soft, eerie glow flooded the room.

The chandelier flickered. The air turned thick. Heavy. As if something unseen had just entered.

Naabi took a step back, pressing against Greenforest’s chest. He wrapped an arm around her, protective. Solid. Safe.

She could hear his heartbeat—steady, grounding her.

"You are mine."

The voice had changed. No longer a whisper. No longer just a ghost.

It was possessive. Commanding.

Joon-woo tensed. "She’s here."

Naabi’s breath hitched. The candlelight flickered wildly—and then—

The mirror cracked.

A spiderweb of fractures spread across the glass, revealing something behind it.

A hidden passage.

Min-kyu turned to Naabi. "Looks like we’re not leaving through the front door."

The Passage of Secrets

One by one, they stepped through.

The air was colder here, thick with dust and age. Stone walls stretched endlessly in both directions. The passage wound deeper, lit only by their flickering flashlights.

Joon-woo ran a hand along the stone. "This isn’t just some old hallway. This was built for something."

Eun-seo shuddered. "Built for what?"

Hye-jin stepped cautiously, her grip tight on Jae-min’s sleeve. "I don’t like this. I feel like we’re being watched."

Greenforest’s voice was low. "We are."

Then—

The first whisper came.

Then another.

And another.

Soft, sorrowful wails filled the tunnel, growing louder.

Naabi’s skin crawled. "It’s them."

Joon-woo gritted his teeth. "The spirits."

Then the wails turned to screams.

"RUN!"

A shadow lunged.

The Hunt Begins

Naabi didn’t think. She ran.

Their footsteps pounded against the stone floor, echoing wildly. The tunnel twisted and turned. Behind them, the air shimmered with darkness.

Jae-min yanked open an iron door, shoving everyone inside.

SLAM.

Breathing hard, Naabi pressed against the cold stone wall, trying to calm her racing heart.

Silence.

Just for a moment.

Then—

Min-kyu’s flashlight landed on something in the center of the room.

A stone cradle.

Naabi’s throat tightened.

Inside lay a tiny skeleton.

A child.

Joon-woo exhaled shakily. "No…"

Eun-seo covered her mouth, eyes brimming with horror.

Hye-jin whispered, "The missing baby."

Naabi’s hands shook. The spirit wasn’t looking for just any child.

She was looking for her baby.

The one buried here. Forgotten.

And she wasn’t going to stop.

Greenforest turned to Naabi. "We need to leave this place. Now."

Joon-woo clenched his jaw. "But if we do—what happens when she comes after Naabi?"

Silence.

Because they all knew the answer.

Naabi wasn’t just trapped here.

She was marked.

To be continued…
