Ashley had a goodnight sleep. She opened her eyes and looked around the room. Yesterday she was too tired to notice any of it's features. But now she was full of energy. It wasn't a big room, but it wasn't tiny either. It was a rectangular shape. The door was on it's side, with a chair and bed next to it. On the other side of the room was a desk with a big, orange lamp and armchair next to it. There was also a wardrobe on the smaller wall of the rectangular room. Next to the wardrobe, tucked in one of the room's corners was a small tv. The room was in a light pink wallpaper with beautiful flowers giving the room a sweet touch. Ashley also almost immediately noticed the many paintings and drawings hung all over the room. Many were drawings of landscapes and nature. There were also three portraits hanging just above the bed, one of a man and two of beautiful women. Ashley got off her bed and went to the bathroom. She brushed her teeth and combed her hair. She took and opened her suitcase and got out a tshirt, socks and a pair of jeans. She put on her clothes, made her bed and opened the door. Her door was one of the many doors in the long hallway she had walked with Betty the night before, only now Ashley the sun was shining through the windows, brightening the walls of the hall. She could now see that the hall also had thousands of paintings hung on the walls. Ashley walked the way she came before with Betty and soon reached the grand staircase. As she walked down the stairs one of the servants noticed her and walked up to her. The servant greeted her and told her to follow him. They went through the big room to a door. Another servant opened it. The room on the other side of the door was a huge dining room. The dining-room was exquisite. The walls were covered with a shimmering gold paper and in the middle of the ceiling above the carved oak table was a candelabra. Down the center of the table was a runner with Celtic design woven in gold and green into the fabric itself. At the end of the table were floor to ceiling french doors, left slightly ajar to let in the scented summer air. The polished silver cutlery was heavy to the hand and shone brightly in the morning light. At each place stood a tall empty wine glass and there were beautifully folded napkins to match the runner. It was a grand space, to say the least. The huge mahogany table took up most of the vast space the dark, romantic room offered, left without a tablecloth and daring guests to ruin the perfectly varnished shine with their unworthy fingerprints. Two tall, silver candelabras commanded attention from the center of the table, holding smooth white candles whose wax never dripped.
The room contained a long dining table with chairs on both sides of it. There were two vases with pretty yellow flowers that gave the room a nice touch. In the head of the table sat mr. Hemlocks.
