Spoon feed

Thalassius scoffed, his arms crossed over his chest as he glared at the Shark King, Kiaros. "I don't want the baby," he muttered, his tail flicking in frustration. "And I definitely don’t want to have a baby with my stupid enemy!"

Kiaros smirked, leaning in close and whispering something into Thalassius’s ear. Whatever he said made the proud merman's face turn a deep shade of red. His gills fluttered, and his tail stiffened, betraying his flustered state.

Noah, watching the exchange, crossed his arms with a teasing grin. "Well," he mused, tilting his head, "if this is happening, we might need a bigger bed for three."

Both Thalassius and Kiaros snapped their heads toward him, their eyes widening.

"Three?!" they echoed in unison.

Noah simply shrugged, a small smirk playing on his lips. "What? If you both are going to act like this, I might as well make the best of it."

Noah sighed as he got out of bed, his body still feeling a little sore. He stretched and decided to make breakfast—for three. As much as Thalassius and Kiaros annoyed him, they were now part of his life, whether he liked it or not.

He moved around the kitchen, cooking up a meal while the two mermen sat at the table, watching him with unreadable expressions. The smell of food filled the air, making Kiaros hum in satisfaction.

When Noah placed the plates down, he was about to dig in when Kiaros suddenly grabbed a spoonful of food and held it up to his lips. "Say ahh~" Kiaros teased with a grin.

Noah blinked. "I can feed myself, you know."

"Nope," Kiaros smirked. "You’re carrying a royal baby. Let me take care of you."

Before Noah could protest, Thalassius, still grumpy but oddly competitive, took another spoonful and shoved it in Kiaros’s mouth instead. "If anyone’s feeding him, it should be me," Thalassius huffed.

Kiaros chewed and smirked. "Fine, then I’ll feed both of you."*

With that, the Shark King took turns feeding Noah and Thalassius, making sure neither of them could refuse. Noah rolled his eyes, but his cheeks were slightly pink. Maybe, just maybe, this strange situation wasn’t so bad.
