A broken bed

Noah brought both Thalassius and the sharkman, Kairos, into his house. As they settled in, Noah smiled and said, “I’m going to get some blueberries. I’ll be back soon.”

Thalassius gave him a concerned look and said, “Be careful, Noah. You have a baby growing inside you.”

Kairos, the sharkman, nodded in agreement. “Yes, you must be cautious.”

Noah chuckled and turned to Thalassius. “By the way, what’s the sharkman’s name?”

Thalassius replied, “His name is Kairos.”

Noah nodded. “Okay, I’ll be back soon.”

He left and went to the market, picking out the freshest, juiciest blueberries he could find. Excited to return, he hurried back home.

But when he stepped inside, the house was strangely quiet. Thalassius and Kairos were nowhere to be seen.

Frowning, Noah walked deeper into the house, searching for them. That’s when he heard it—soft, muffled morn sounds coming from behind a closed door.

“…Ah~…”

Noah’s heart pounded. What was happening behind that door?

Noah stood frozen for a moment, staring at the closed door. He could still hear the strange sounds coming from inside, but he quickly shook his head.

"Nope. Not my business."

Taking a deep breath, he turned away and walked outside instead. The fresh air helped clear his mind as he wandered around, trying to distract himself.

He found a quiet spot under a tree and sat down, munching on the blueberries he had bought. The sweetness burst in his mouth, but his thoughts kept drifting back to the scene at home.

"What are those two even doing in there…?" he wondered, sighing.

To keep himself busy, Noah decided to gather some flowers nearby. If nothing else, he could at least make the house look nicer while waiting for whatever was happening inside to be over.

As the night settled in, Noah finally decided to head back inside. He was exhausted from wandering around all day and just wanted to rest.

But the moment he stepped into the bedroom, his eyes widened in shock. The bed—completely broken. Pieces of wood scattered across the floor.

And there, looking up at him with guilty puppy eyes, were Thalassius and the sharkman, Kairos.

Noah pinched the bridge of his nose. "What… happened?"

Kairos scratched the back of his head, looking away awkwardly. "Uh… we just… enjoyed ourselves too much."

Noah's eyes twitched. "Enjoyed yourselves? You DESTROYED the bed!"

Then, he noticed something else. Thalassius was lying on the floor instead of the bed.

"And why is Thalassius on the floor?" Noah asked, raising an eyebrow.

Thalassius groaned dramatically. "Because he went too hard on me… now I can't walk."

Noah let out a deep sigh and rubbed his temples. "I left for a few hours. A FEW HOURS. And this is what I come back to?"

Kairos, still looking guilty, gently picked up Thalassius and set him back onto the ruined bed. "Sorry… I'll fix it."

Noah crossed his arms. "You better."

I think they’re gonna need a bigger and sturdy or bed (for three, of course).
