~Chapter 2: OUR FIRST NIGHT~

Lena sat at the edge of the massive bed, her fingers gripping the silk sheets. The weight of the day pressed down on her—her wedding, leaving her family, stepping into a life she barely understood. The room was grand, almost suffocating in its silence.

Sehun stood near the window, one hand in his pocket, his tie slightly loosened. He hadn’t said much since they entered the room, but she could feel his gaze on her. When he finally moved, it was slow, deliberate, like he had all the time in the world.

“You look tense.” His voice was deep, smooth.

Lena exhaled, offering a small smile. “It’s just… a lot to take in.”

He studied her for a moment before sitting beside her, his presence close enough to make her pulse unsteady.

“That’s normal.” He leaned back slightly, resting his arm on the bed frame. “A stranger one moment, a husband the next. It doesn’t feel real yet, does it?”

Lena hesitated before shaking her head. “No, it doesn’t.”

Sehun smirked faintly. “It will.”

She turned to look at him. His dark eyes were unreadable, calm yet holding something deeper—something she couldn’t quite name.

“I don’t know what kind of husband you’ll be,” she admitted, her voice quiet but steady.

He tilted his head slightly. “And what do you expect?”

Lena searched for the right words. “Not love, not yet. But respect, maybe. Understanding.”

Sehun was silent for a moment before he leaned in slightly, his gaze never leaving hers. “Marriage isn’t built on expectations, Lena. It’s built on what we make of it.”

Something about the way he said it sent a chill down her spine.

He reached out, tucking a strand of her hair behind her ear. His fingers lingered just a second too long before he pulled away.

“You’ll get used to this life,” he said, his voice quiet but firm. “Whether you want to or not.”

Lena’s breath caught, a strange unease settling in her chest. It wasn’t a threat. Not exactly. But it wasn’t reassurance either.

For a moment, they just stared at each other, the air between them heavy. Then, Sehun stood up, unbuttoning the cuffs of his shirt.

“Get some sleep,” he said, his tone unreadable. Lena was already really tired that without realising she slept while sitting on the bed..

Her mind restless even as exhaustion pulled at her.

As Lena was asleep sehun layed down on the bed beside her it doesn't feel bad but it doesn't feel good either it's been so long since he slept with someone from the day his mother died he always sleeps alone so it felt strange "If I found her annoying I will divorce her I only did this marriage because of mother anyway I don't want someone buzzing around me like a fly." Because his mother wanted to shut the mouth of the people that she doesn't treat her step son right (she never even looked at him..)
