"Dear? What was the meaning of this? Asked madam Pi somewhat warily

" Will you explain to us why you refused such great mariage?" asked Mr Pi quite angrily.

"Mariage ? Is that all you think about? We were almost killed." answered Isa

"Didn't you see how angry he was? Or were you both blind to think in such situation everything was going fine?"

" That was just some show of power-" before Mrs Pi could finish, she was cut off by her daughter.

" I had a dream mother. I dreamt of the young master" started off Isa but was cut by her mother

" that's good then. Nana, why are you still here? Don't you see your sister -"

Nancy was feeling bad for her sister when she heard her defend her instead.

"Mom stop it! My dream said if he doesn't marry Nana then calamity will befall on us"

"What?!"

Mr and Mrs Pi were both strange believers so of course they will guard against any danger.

"Then this must seem as you were not meant for the young master..." said Mrs Pi then continued "dear don't be sad."

Isa: I'll be sad if you didn't believe me

"What about the marriage with-" Me Pi couldn't finish speaking when Mrs Pi interrupted by saying "what marriage? They just want to harm my daughter. What can come from an illegitimate child? I'm sure he's suffering and they want my daughter to suffer with him. It's clearly a revenge for the prank your daughter did"

After being accused again, Nancy felt like crying. This was not her idea so why did she always have to pay for every wrong doing when innocent?

"That was my idea"

For some reason, everyone even the servants were in disbelief.

"Why did you do that?" asked Mr Pi

"To help her overcome her fears, she came to me crying yesterday. I could only think of this"

Both exchanged looks then asked both to seat down while asking the servants to prepare them snacks.

Mrs Pi then said " Is good Nana decided to marry young master afterall, don't worry as our daughter we would always support you"

"Exactly" said Mr Pi.

Hearing this, Nancy felt awkward. So now are they going to be good to her since sister said so?

Nancy thought that after leaving the family she would be free.The only one she cared about right now, was her sister.

She knew her sister was a good person, she was just misled by her parents to be a shrew. And more so when she went to stay with that elder. As soon as that elder died, everything inherited by her was actually transferred to father.

This is why they are considered a third graded rich family.And her marrying to the young master will help the family to move to a second graded rich family. She thought helping them climb the social circle will be their last contribution to them. After this she won't owe them anything.

As the family was discussing, they finally agreed on certain details for the marriage.

As Isa was going back to her room, Nancy followed her which wasn't unnoticed by the parents and servants.

Reaching her doorstep, Isa stooped.

"What...?" before she could even finish speaking, she was embraced by her sister

"I'm happy you're back sister. Please don't leave me anymore, you're my only family."

She sigh thinking it's good she had a second chance then. God did pity her.

"Sister, If you want any help in the future could you come to me?"

As Nancy said so, Isa looked at her dumbfounded. She could clearly see how Nancy wasn't happy with their parents no matter how she was being treated now. So why help her then?

"Are you not angry with me?" she asked

"I thank that dream that awaken you. Actually I know you are a good person at heart just a little confused about right and wrong."
