Chapter 1: Episode 1: Lost and Weak-Episode 2: The Struggle Begins

Episode 1: Lost and Weak

A cold wind rustled through the towering trees of the Forest of Trials. The air was damp, filled with the scent of earth and rotting leaves. Somewhere, hidden among the twisted roots and moss-covered stones, a young man groaned as he slowly regained consciousness.

"Ugh… where am I?"

His head was pounding. His clothes were torn, barely hanging onto his body. His stomach growled so loudly it almost echoed in the silent woods. He rubbed his eyes and sat up, his body aching as if he had fallen from a great height.

"What… what happened?"

He tried to remember, but his mind was blank. All he knew was his name—Kulastog.

As he stood up, his legs trembled, barely able to hold his own weight. He was weak. That much was obvious. His body was thin, untrained, and completely unsuited for survival in an unknown forest.

"Okay, calm down… I need to figure out where I am."

He looked around. The trees stretched endlessly in all directions, their thick canopies blocking most of the sunlight. Shadows danced on the ground, making it hard to tell where was safe and where was not. The forest was eerily silent. Too silent.

Then he heard it—a rustle in the bushes.

Kulastog stiffened. His heart pounded in his chest.

"Please be the wind…"

The rustling got louder. The leaves shook violently.

"Please be a cute, harmless animal…"

The bushes exploded.

A rabbit jumped out.

Kulastog blinked.

It was just a small, fluffy rabbit. White fur, round body, twitching nose. It looked completely normal. He exhaled, relieved.

"Hah! I almost had a heart attack over a damn rabbit!"

Then the rabbit grinned.

Its fluffy mouth stretched unnaturally wide, revealing rows of sharp, serrated fangs. Its eyes turned blood-red, glowing with an eerie hunger. Its cute little paws twitched—no, sharpened into claws.

Kulastog froze.

"Oh… oh no."

The Murder Bunny lunged.

Run, Kulastog, Run!

"AAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!"

Kulastog bolted. He ran like his life depended on it—because it did. The rabbit moved unnaturally fast, leaping between trees and closing the distance almost instantly.

"WHY IS IT SO FAST? IT’S JUST A RABBIT! STOP CHASING ME!"

His foot caught a root. He tripped and tumbled down a small hill, crashing through the underbrush. He landed face-first in a puddle.

Spluttering, he pushed himself up just in time to see the Murder Bunny leaping towards him, fangs bared.

"THIS IS IT! THIS IS HOW I DIE—"

WHACK!

Out of sheer panic, Kulastog grabbed the nearest thing—a small, mossy rock—and swung it at the rabbit mid-air.

It connected.

The rabbit let out a high-pitched squeal before spiraling through the air and crashing into a bush. For a second, there was silence.

Kulastog stared, panting.

"Did… did I just win?"

The bush rustled. The Murder Bunny emerged, looking angrier than before.

"Oh, come on!"

Kulastog turned and ran again.

The Untrained Survivor

After what felt like an eternity, Kulastog finally managed to lose the rabbit by jumping into a river and letting the current carry him away. He crawled onto the shore, coughing up water, exhausted and shivering.

"I hate this place."

As he lay on his back, staring at the darkening sky, one thing became very, very clear.

If he didn’t get stronger, he was going to die in this forest.

And so, his training would begin.

Episode 2: The Struggle Begins

Kulastog sat on a rock, dripping wet, exhausted, and starving. His stomach screamed for food, but the only thing he had eaten since waking up was river water and regret.

"I need food... or I’ll die..."

He looked around for something—anything—he could eat. Mushrooms? Probably poisonous. Berries? Definitely poisonous. Bugs? Absolutely disgusting.

His stomach growled again, this time louder.

"Alright, alright! Fine! I’ll eat whatever I can find!"

A few moments later…

Kulastog sat under a tree, chewing on a handful of weird-tasting leaves. His face twisted in disgust.

"This is the worst thing I’ve ever eaten."

Then his vision blurred. The world around him spun. His body felt like it was floating.

"Oh no… I think I just poisoned myself…"

A few minutes later, he was rolling on the ground, hallucinating. He saw a giant, muscular version of himself standing in front of him.

"WHO ARE YOU?" Kulastog screamed.

"I AM YOU… BUT STRONGER," the hallucination said.

"THEN WHY DON’T YOU JUST HUNT FOR ME?!"

"BECAUSE YOU’RE WEAK."

"NOOOOOOOOO!"

The hallucination vanished, and Kulastog passed out.

When he woke up, his stomach still hurt, his mouth was dry, and worst of all—he was still weak.

"Okay… no more random leaves. Time to actually hunt."

The Bow and Arrow Disaster

Kulastog searched the area and found materials to make a bow.

- A flexible branch – for the bow

- Vines – for the bowstring

- Sharp sticks – for the arrows

He proudly held up his creation. It looked terrible. The bow was slightly bent the wrong way, the string was too loose, and the arrows were just… sticks.

"Okay! Time for a test shot!"

He pulled back the string, aimed at a tree, and released.

SNAP!

The bowstring broke instantly, and the arrow flopped to the ground like a dead fish.

"Are you kidding me?!"

He tried again. And again. And again.

Result #1: The bowstring snapped and hit him in the face.

Result #2: He pulled too hard, and the entire bow broke in half.

Result #3: He accidentally shot himself in the foot.

"I HATE THIS THING!"

After several hours of pain, suffering, and self-inflicted injuries, Kulastog finally made a bow that actually worked.

"Alright! Time to hunt!"

The Greatest Hunter… Not.

Kulastog spotted a small bird perched on a branch.

"This is it! My first real shot!"

He took a deep breath, pulled back the string, and aimed carefully.

TWANG!

The arrow flew straight… and hit a tree three feet away from the bird.

The bird didn’t even flinch. It just turned its head and stared at Kulastog.

"…What? Why are you looking at me like that?"

The bird sighed. Yes, it literally sighed before flying away, as if to say, “This idiot is hopeless.”

"DID THAT BIRD JUST JUDGE ME?!"

Victory! …Sort Of.

After hundreds of failed shots, Kulastog finally managed to hit something—a small, defenseless rabbit-like creature.

"YES! I DID IT! I AM A HUNTER NOW!"

Then he remembered something important…

"…How do I cook this?"

He stared at the dead creature in his hands. Then at the forest.

"…Fire? What’s that?"
