“Zack?” Suji asked, confused. “Who’s Zack?”

“He’s the one who’s been manipulating you, Suji,” Kim Seong said. “He’s the one who’s been hiding behind the filters. He’s the one who sent you the snap of Yuki. He is Kim Seon Yeon.”

Suji’s breath caught in her throat. Kim Seon Yeon was Yuki's real name.

“That’s impossible,” she typed back, her fingers flying across the keyboard. “Yuki is gone.”

“He’s not gone, Suji,” Kim Seong insisted. “He’s been using a fake identity to hide his true intentions. He’s been playing you all along.”

“Why would he do that?” Suji asked, her mind reeling.

“He’s obsessed with you, Suji,” Kim Seong replied.

“He wants to control you. He wants to own you. He’s been using his influence to manipulate your life, to turn you into his digital puppet.”

“You’re lying,” Suji typed back, her voice filled with anger. “You’re trying to deceive me.”

“I’m trying to save you, Suji,” Kim Seong insisted.

“I’m the only one you can trust.”

Suddenly, her phone screen flickered, and a new message appeared. It was from the unknown number that had contacted Parag earlier.

“Don’t trust him, Suji. He’s the one behind the static.”

“Who are you?” Suji typed back, her fingers trembling.

“Someone who knows the truth,” the reply came.

“Look at the code. The static is a message.”

Parag, who had been watching the conversation, grabbed Suji’s phone and started analyzing the code embedded in the Snapchat messages.

“He’s right,” Parag said, his voice tense. “The static is a series of encrypted messages. He’s using it to communicate with someone.”

“Who?” Suji asked, her voice trembling.

“I don’t know,” Parag admitted. “But I’m going to find out.”

“Like Chaenwoo,” Suji whispered, her voice filled with dread.

“But Kim Seong said he was trying to help me,” Suji said, her voice filled with confusion.

“He’s trying to deceive you, Suji,” Parag said. “He’s using his influence to manipulate your perception, to turn you against your friends.”

“But why would he do that?” Suji asked, her voice trembling.

“He wants you for himself, Suji,” Parag replied. “He’s obsessed with you. He’s willing to do anything to have you.”

A wave of nausea washed over Suji. She felt like she was trapped in a nightmare, surrounded by enemies, unable to trust anyone.

“We have to stop them,” she said, her voice filled with determination. “We have to expose them.”

“We will,” Parag said, his voice firm. “We’ll follow the static, we’ll uncover the truth, and we’ll bring them to justice.”
