Kazama Acts Cold, But Gets Jealous

(Ever since their argument, Shinchan has been avoiding Kazama. He’s annoyed—no, pissed off. Why does Kazama think he can just help and brush it off like nothing? Shinchan doesn’t get it, and that irritates him.)

(But fine. If Kazama wants to act cold, Shinchan will just ignore him too.)

(A few days later, Shinchan is at his part-time job when a customer starts flirting with him. It’s a guy, tall and confident, and Shinchan doesn’t mind playing along.)

Flirty Customer: (grinning) "You know, you’re kinda cute."

Shinchan: (smirking, teasing) "I get that a lot."

(Unbeknownst to Shinchan, Kazama is watching from across the street, hidden behind dark sunglasses. He wasn’t stalking or anything—just passing by. That’s all.)

(But now, he’s stuck in place, fists clenched. He watches as Shinchan laughs, leaning in close to the guy. And for some reason, it pisses him off.)

(Before he knows it, Kazama is already walking towards them.)

Inside the Cafe

(Shinchan is still chatting with the customer when he feels a firm hand on his shoulder. He turns and nearly chokes when he sees Kazama glaring down at them.)

Kazama: (calmly, but coldly) "You’re on shift, aren’t you? Shouldn’t you be working instead of flirting?"

(Shinchan blinks, caught off guard. The customer raises an eyebrow.)

Flirty Customer: (grinning, looking at Kazama) "And you are?"

Kazama: (expression unreadable) "His problem."

(Before Shinchan can even react, Kazama grabs his wrist and pulls him aside.)

Shinchan: (shocked, struggling) "O-Oi! What the hell?!"

Kazama: (hissing) "Are you seriously that desperate for attention?"

Shinchan: (angry, pulling away) "What’s your problem?! First, you act like you don’t care, and now you’re suddenly butting in?!"

Kazama: (quietly, jaw clenched) "You really don’t get it, do you?"

(Shinchan freezes. There’s something in Kazama’s voice—something different. He can’t explain it, but it sends shivers down his spine.)

Shinchan: (softly) "Kazama…?"

(For a split second, Kazama looks like he’s about to say something important. But just as quickly, he shuts down. He scoffs, turning away.)

Kazama: "Forget it. Do whatever you want."

(And with that, he leaves. Shinchan watches him go, his heart pounding, his chest feeling strangely heavy.)

Kazama Avoids Shinchan

(For the past few days, Kazama has been avoiding Shinchan like he owes him money. No texts, no calls, and every time Shinchan drops by his office, Kazama is either "busy" or "out for a meeting." At first, Shinchan tells himself he doesn’t care. Kazama can act all high and mighty if he wants, but—

(Yeah, no. This is pissing him off.)

At Kazama’s Office

(Shinchan walks into Kazama’s office building like he owns the place. The receptionist tries to stop him, but he flashes his usual grin.)

Shinchan: “I’ll only take a minute. You don’t wanna stop true love, do ya?”

*(Before she can reply, Shinchan is already inside the elevator, hitting the button to Kazama’s floor.)

(When he steps out, he sees Kazama coming out of a meeting. Their eyes meet, and Kazama’s expression immediately darkens. Shinchan smirks.)

Shinchan: “Yo, long time no see, Mr. Vice President.”

(Kazama turns away, walking fast. Shinchan, being Shinchan, follows.)

Inside Kazama’s Office

(Kazama barely makes it inside before Shinchan shoves the door open behind him. Kazama sighs, rubbing his temple.)

Kazama: "Shinchan, I’m busy. Leave."

Shinchan: (grinning, closing the door behind him) "Nah, see, you don’t get to disappear for days and act like nothing happened. That’s rude, Kazama."

Kazama: (coldly) "I don’t owe you anything."

Shinchan: (mocking tone) "Ohhh, I see. So, what is it this time? You saw me with some pretty guy and got all jealous?"

(Kazama stiffens. Bingo. Shinchan smirks.)

Kazama: (clenching his fists) "Don’t flatter yourself."

Shinchan: (leaning in slightly, teasing) "Then look me in the eye and tell me you don’t care."

(Kazama freezes. His grip tightens on his desk. He doesn’t push Shinchan away, but he doesn’t pull him closer either. His breathing is uneven.)

(For the first time, Shinchan notices something different. A hesitation in Kazama’s gaze. A struggle. Something real.)

Shinchan: (quietly, serious now) "Kazama… if you’ve got something to say, just say it."

(Kazama looks away. He can’t. Not yet.)

Kazama: (softly) "Just drop it, Shinchan."

(And with that, he turns away, leaving Shinchan standing there, heart pounding.)
