The Final Airport Drama
After sending off Ayaan and Riya to their respective hostels, the remaining chaotic bunch—Dadi, Amma, Neha, Isha, Vikram, and Aarav—were finally preparing to leave Delhi.
But, of course, nothing could ever be simple with them.
As they stood in the airport, waiting for their flight announcement, Amma suddenly clutched her bag.
“WAIT!” Amma gasped. “Did I pack enough laddoos? What if Ayaan gets hungry at night?”
Dadi’s eyes widened in equal horror. “Oh my God, I didn’t even think of the achaar! What if Riya needs comfort food?!”
Neha groaned. “Amma, Ayaan is in a medical hostel. There’s a full mess and canteen.”
Isha sighed. “And Riya is in a sports academy. She literally has a nutritionist.”
Dadi ignored them and clutched the achaar bottle like it was her last possession on Earth. “Are you saying I should let my grandchildren starve?!”
Amma sniffled. “Do you even know the effort it takes to make these laddoos? And now they’ll be all alone without them!”
Neha massaged her forehead. “Amma, they already LEFT. There’s no point in crying now.”
Isha smirked. “Besides, Ayaan and Riya will be too busy torturing each other to miss laddoos.”
Dadi and Amma gasped, completely ignoring the flight announcement.
Dadi wiped a tear. “I just wanted them to have something made with love.”
Amma clutched Neha’s hand dramatically. “And now they’ll eat hostel food every day! What if they become weak?!”
Neha sighed. “Appa literally sent an entire truck of homemade food with Riya.”
Isha chuckled. “And Aarav hired an entire mess service for Ayaan.”
Dadi blinked. “Oh. Well… still.”
Just then, an airport staff member cleared their throat behind them.
“Ma’am, your flight is boarding.”
Neha grabbed Amma’s arm. “Come on, let’s go before you cry over dahi chaat next.”
Amma muttered, “Oh, that’s actually a good idea—”
Isha dragged her along.
Aarav & Vikram’s Headache Continues
While the ladies were busy with their food crisis, Aarav and Vikram were having their own struggles.
Vikram groaned, checking his watch. “Do you think our wives will actually board the flight, or should we just settle here in the airport forever?”
Aarav sighed. “Let’s be honest. We are only leaving if Dadi and Amma allow it.”
Vikram smirked. “And here I thought you were the great Dr. Aarav Mehta, CEO, neurologist, and powerful man.”
Aarav raised an eyebrow. “And yet, I fear my mother more than I fear surgery.”
Vikram clapped his back. “Welcome to the club.”
Just then, Dadi and Amma spotted them.
“Aarav!” Amma waved dramatically. “Come here, beta!”
Aarav froze. “Oh no.”
Neha grinned. “Oh yes.”
Isha smirked. “I hope you two are ready.”
Vikram narrowed his eyes. “What are they plotting now?”
Before they could escape, Amma grabbed Aarav’s arm while Dadi grabbed Vikram’s collar.
Dadi smiled sweetly. “Beta, we just had a thought—”
Aarav sighed. “Here we go.”
Amma beamed. “Since Riya and Ayaan will be alone in their hostels… maybe we should shift to Delhi for a few months?”
Vikram choked. “EXCUSE ME?!”
Neha burst out laughing. “Oh, I would LOVE to see you both suffer.”
Isha grinned. “You should definitely do it, Amma. I fully support this.”
Aarav shook his head. “Absolutely not.”
Vikram panicked. “Ayaan and Riya will kill us if they find out!”
Dadi sighed dramatically. “So heartless. I just wanted to be there for my grandkids.”
Amma wiped fake tears. “But no one cares about us.”
Neha whispered to Isha, “Five seconds until they start the melodrama.”
Isha smirked. “Three seconds.”
And then—
Dadi clutched her chest. “I feel weak! The pain of separation is too much!”
Amma grabbed a chair. “Someone bring me water! I’m feeling dizzy!”
Vikram groaned. “Oh my God, we’re in a full Bollywood scene.”
Neha smirked. “As always.”
Aarav sighed. “We are never leaving this airport, are we?”
The Grand Departure (FINALLY)
After thirty more minutes of arguing, fake tears, and dramatic sighs, the ladies finally boarded the plane—though not without one last warning.
Dadi pointed at Aarav and Vikram. “We will return. And next time, we will bring even more laddoos!”
Amma nodded. “And achaar!”
Neha chuckled. “We’ll be waiting.”
Isha smirked. “With popcorn.”
Aarav muttered to Vikram, “I swear to God, I am installing security at Ayaan’s hostel.”
Vikram sighed. “I’m locking Riya’s academy.”
And with that, the Great Delhi Trip officially ended.
But the matchmaking madness?
Far from over.
