The Ultimate Farewell Prank
Ayaan and Riya had survived two days of matchmaking madness. But before they could finally escape back to their homes, they had one last challenge—getting through the final family gathering without another scheme being thrown at them.
Of course, that was wishful thinking.
Dadi clapped her hands. “Since this is our last meal together before everyone goes home, we should do something special!”
Amma nodded. “A family game!”
Ayaan immediately tensed. “No.”
Riya frowned. “Why do I feel like this is a trap?”
Neha smiled sweetly. “Oh, come on! Just a little fun before we leave.”
Aarav raised an eyebrow. “Define ‘fun.’”
Isha grinned. “Ayaan and Riya will reenact a Bollywood scene together!”
Vikram spat out his coffee. “ABSOLUTELY NOT!”
Ayaan choked. “What?!”
Riya groaned. “I refuse.”
Dadi and Amma sighed dramatically. “We just want one small performance,” Amma sniffled. “It’s our wish as elders.”
Ayaan and Riya exchanged a look.
“Fake couple act?” Riya whispered.
“Yup,” Ayaan sighed.
With a dramatic sigh, Ayaan grabbed Riya’s hand. “Fine. But we’re picking the scene.”
Riya smirked. “And we’re making it as ridiculous as possible.”
Neha narrowed her eyes. “What are you two planning?”
Ayaan and Riya took center stage.
Ayaan put a hand over his heart. “Oh, my dear Riya, how will I ever survive without you?”
Riya fake gasped. “Oh, Ayaan, my heart beats only for you!”
She dramatically flung herself toward him. Ayaan caught her, dipping her like in a classic romantic pose—except his grip slipped, and they both tumbled to the ground.
The whole family burst into laughter.
Vikram wiped fake tears. “Best. Romance. Ever.”
Aarav nodded. “So moving.”
Dadi and Amma clapped. “You two have such chemistry!”
Ayaan groaned. “Yeah, yeah. Can we go home now?”
Riya muttered, “Before they plan a sangeet next.”

One Last Round of Fatherly Warnings
As the cars were packed and everyone prepared to leave, Vikram pulled Riya aside.
“Listen, kanna,” he began, placing his hands on her shoulders. “No distractions. Focus on cricket.”
Riya sighed. “Appa, I know.”
“And no boys—”
She groaned. “Yes, yes, I got it.”
Meanwhile, Aarav cornered Ayaan. “Keep your head in your studies.”
Ayaan smirked. “I always do.”
“And no unnecessary distractions,” Aarav added, eyeing Riya.
Ayaan laughed. “Why is everyone so dramatic?”
Neha and Isha appeared behind them, smirking.
Neha patted Ayaan’s cheek. “Don’t worry, beta. If you ever get confused, just let us handle your love life.”
Isha nodded. “We’re excellent matchmakers.”
Ayaan and Riya groaned in unison. “NO THANK YOU!”
Aarav sighed. “Let’s go before they actually arrange something.”
Vikram muttered, “Finally, something we agree on.”
Dadi and Amma waved happily. “This was such a wonderful trip! We should do it again soon!”
Ayaan and Riya paled. “No need.”
The cars drove off, leaving behind laughter, chaos, and an unspoken truth—this wasn’t the last time their families would scheme.
This war was far from over.
