Ayaan vs. Team Parents – The Cross-Examination Begins
Ayaan sat stiffly in his hostel room at AIIMS Delhi, four pairs of eyes drilling into him.
His mother, Isha Kapoor Mehta, looked absolutely livid.
His father, Dr. Aarav Mehta, looked amused.
Neha Verma Sinha had her arms crossed, her expression unreadable.
And Vikram Sinha? Way too entertained.
Ayaan sighed. This was going to be a long night.
“So…” Neha started, tapping her foot. “Why exactly did we have to find out through an outsider that you were struggling in anatomy class?”
Ayaan blinked. “Struggling? Who said I was struggling?”
Isha folded her arms. “A professor personally requested to mentor you, beta. That means something’s wrong.”
Ayaan resisted the urge to groan. “Mom, I’m fine. Dr. Kapoor just—”
“Kapoor?” Aarav cut in, eyes narrowing. “Siddharth Kapoor?”
Ayaan hesitated. “Uh… yes?”
Aarav exhaled sharply and rubbed his temples.
Neha and Isha exchanged looks.
Vikram, of course, laughed.
“Dude, you’re learning medicine from the guy who ignored your father’s existence in school?” Vikram chuckled. “Oh, this is golden.”
Ayaan sighed. “Baba, I know. And I talked to him.”
Aarav’s gaze sharpened. “And?”
Ayaan exhaled. “He regrets it. He was scared.”
Aarav was silent for a long moment.
Then he asked, “And you?”
Ayaan looked down at his hands. “I don’t know yet.”
His father didn’t push further.
Instead, he nodded. “That’s enough for now.”
Neha and Isha, however, weren’t done.
“Now tell us, Ayaan,” Neha said sweetly, “why exactly were you sulking about Riya being in another city?”
Ayaan choked. “I was not sulking—”
Vikram smirked. “So you weren’t glaring at your phone waiting for her texts?”
Ayaan groaned. He was never escaping this family interrogation.
Riya’s Revolution – Step One: The Squad
Meanwhile, at her school, Riya was assembling a team.
She had one month to prove that women’s cricket deserved a place.
And for that, she needed warriors.
Standing before her were some of the most talented but overlooked girls in sports.
“Ladies,” Riya grinned. “It’s time to make history.”
A girl stepped forward—Tanya, the school’s fastest bowler.
“This isn’t going to be easy,” Tanya warned.
Riya smirked. “Since when do I do easy?”
Another girl, Meera, adjusted her gloves. “We’ll need sponsors.”
“We’ll get them,” Riya promised.
Tanya folded her arms. “What about a coach?”
Riya’s smirk widened.
“I have just the person in mind.”
The Parents Take Over – Chaos in Delhi
Back at AIIMS, Ayaan thought the interrogation was over.
He was wrong.
Because now, his mother and Neha were marching toward the dean’s office.
“Mom—” Ayaan tried.
“Ayaan, sweetheart, hush.” Isha smiled sweetly.
Neha turned to him. “We’re just having a little chat with the administration.”
Vikram patted Ayaan’s back. “We tried to warn you, bro.”
Ayaan looked at his father for help.
Aarav just shrugged.
Ayaan groaned. He was doomed.
