Clash of Blood and Strategy

Azgrel’s cold eyes narrowed as Ezren’s blood chains tightened around his leg. For the first time, a hint of surprise crossed his face.

“Hmph… impressive, mortal,” Azgrel muttered. “But still… not enough.”

With a flick of his hand, a burst of demonic energy exploded, shattering the blood chains. Ezren staggered back, coughing blood.

Nero’s eyes flared crimson. “Blood Lance!” He hurled a spear of blood straight at Azgrel’s heart.

Azgrel smiled calmly, shifting his body just enough — the lance scraped past him, but a trickle of blood ran down his cheek. “You’re not like the others… you’re learning.”

Before anyone could react, Azgrel launched forward — faster than any of them expected — his crimson blade slashing toward Nero.

Kain blocked it just in time. Sparks flew as their blades collided. “Damn… he’s fast.”

Azgrel grinned. “And you’re slow.” He pushed Kain back with monstrous strength.

Suddenly, from above, Mira and Lena struck together — wind blades and holy arrows raining down.

Azgrel conjured a crimson barrier, blocking the assault effortlessly. “Child’s play.”

Raven roared, swinging his greatsword with raw power. “Stone Breaker Slash!” He smashed through Azgrel’s barrier — catching the demon off-guard for a split second.

Nero seized the moment. “Hellfire Veins!” His body ignited with cursed flames as he charged. He threw a brutal punch — landing square on Azgrel’s jaw.

Azgrel staggered back, blood dripping from his mouth — his cold eyes now burning with rage. “You dare… hit me?”

Nero grinned, panting. “Damn right I did.”

For the first time, Azgrel’s perfect composure cracked. “Enough games.”

Azgrel raised both hands — massive crimson sigils lit the sky. “Demon Art: Bloodstorm Cataclysm!”

A tornado of blood and shadows erupted, swallowing the battlefield. The sky turned black. Demonic energy rained down.

Ezren screamed, “Everyone! Defense NOW!” He formed a blood dome around the team, but cracks formed fast.

Kain shouted, “We can’t hold this!”

Nero clenched his fists, thinking fast. If I don’t stop this, we all die.

In that moment, Nero’s eyes turned blood red — his pupil shining golden. He grinned. “Fine… let’s see how far I can push this curse.”

He burst out of the blood dome — charging straight into the heart of the Bloodstorm.

Azgrel laughed. “Suicidal! You’ll die—”

But Nero’s voice roared through the storm. “Demon King’s Grasp!”

The giant spectral hand appeared again — this time, grabbing Azgrel mid-air.

Azgrel’s eyes widened. “What?! Impossible!”

Nero snarled. “I’m done playing your game, Azgrel!” He slammed Azgrel into the ground with crushing force.

The Bloodstorm shattered. The sky cleared.

Everyone stared in shock as Nero stood tall, his aura burning like a demon.

Azgrel coughed blood, his body broken — but he was smiling. “You… you’re more dangerous than I thought…”

Before Nero could finish him, Azgrel vanished in a swirl of crimson smoke.

Ezren collapsed, breathing hard. “Is… is it over?”

Nero stood still, staring at the spot where Azgrel disappeared. “No… he’ll be back.”

Lena shivered. “He called Nero cursed… what does that mean?”

Nero didn’t answer. Deep down… he knew.
