Episode 6 – "Power Surge"

Episode 6 – "Power Surge"

Opening Scene – The Stormsons Discuss Lily’s Powers

The Stormson family gathers in the living room, staring at the list of possible powers Dr. Voltz provided for Lily.

Phoebe (reading aloud):

"So, we already know she could either get Teleportation or Magnetism, but there are two more possibilities… Let’s see… ‘Energy Absorption and Wind Manipulation.’"

Zane (grinning): "Ohhh, I vote for Wind Manipulation! Imagine a baby tornado! That would be hilarious."

Eric (groaning): "For who?! I’d be the one cleaning up after her!"

Peter (smirking): "Energy Absorption sounds kinda cool too. What if she just drains electricity like a mini power plant?"

Stacy (deadpan): "Great. Because nothing says ‘responsible parenting’ like letting an infant absorb high-voltage electricity."

Linda: "Alright, enough guessing. We need to test her powers properly so we know what we’re dealing with."

Power Testing Begins – The Drills

The family sets up different drills to check each power one by one.

Test 1: Teleportation

Setup: They place Lily on a play mat in the middle of the room, surrounding her with pillows so she doesn’t get hurt if she suddenly vanishes.

Test:

Phoebe (waving a toy): "Okay, Lily! If you can teleport, come grab the teddy!"

Lily giggles… then suddenly POOFS! out of sight.

Zane (shocked): "Wait—where’d she go?!"

They look around frantically before hearing a tiny giggle… from the top of the bookshelf!

Eric (panicking): "How did she—?!"

Peter (flying up to grab her): "Okay, teleportation confirmed. This is going to be a problem."

Test 2: Magnetism

Setup: The family places a few metal objects (like spoons, coins, and toy cars) on the table to see if Lily reacts to them.

Test:

Linda (holding a spoon): "Alright, sweetie. Can you move this?"

Lily claps her hands… and suddenly, every metallic object in the room shoots toward her like a magnet.

Zane (laughing as forks fly past him): "Okay! That’s a yes!"

Eric (dodging a metal lamp): "Someone TURN IT OFF!"

Stacy (lifting Lily away): "I think she does it when she’s excited. We really need to work on control."

Test 3: Energy Absorption

Setup: They place a small light-up toy in front of Lily and see if she absorbs power from it.

Test:

Phoebe (handing the toy over): "Here you go, Lily!"

Lily touches the toy… and it immediately shuts off.

Peter (raising an eyebrow): "Huh. That’s kinda cool."

Zane (grinning): "So she’s like a baby phone charger? Sweet!"

Linda: "This could be dangerous. If she absorbs too much, she could drain things she shouldn’t."

Test 4: Wind Manipulation

Setup: They set up a few feathers and pieces of paper on a table to see if Lily can control the air around her.

Test:

Eric (encouraging): "Alright, little storm, can you blow on this?"

Lily giggles… and suddenly a HUGE GUST OF WIND blasts through the room, knocking everyone over!

Phoebe (yelling over the wind): "DEFINITELY WIND POWERS!"

Zane (laughing as he slides across the floor): "WHOOO! BABY HURRICANE!"

Linda (catching Lily): "We need to childproof the house. Immediately."

Final Results & Decision

After the tests, Dr. Voltz arrives again to analyze Lily’s progress.

Dr. Voltz: "Well, it looks like she’s showing signs of ALL FOUR powers. But only two of them will become her permanent abilities by the end of the week."

Peter (smirking): "Well, whatever she ends up with, she’s definitely gonna be a handful."

Zane (grinning): "Can’t wait to see which powers stick!"

As the episode ends, the screen fades to black with Lily teleporting again—this time landing on top of the fridge!

To be continued…

Next Episode Hint:

Lily’s powers continue to develop, and the family must find a way to control them before she causes chaos in public!
