This Too Shall Pass
I’m Abi, and this is my story part reality, part imagination. It begins here and ends here. Now, let’s begin.
Don’t lie tell the truth. Has this happened in your life or not?
For all of us, there will always be someone special someone we hold close, someone we trust beyond measure. They are the first person we run to, whether the news is good or bad. They know our secrets, our fears, our dreams things we wouldn’t even tell our parents. We believe they will walk beside us forever, never leaving our side. I believed that too.
I really did.
But the truth is, they are often the first to leave.
Loving, caring for, and respecting them isn’t the problem. The problem is when we pour all our love into them, expecting them to stay. Because in the end, it is always the one who loved the most who gets hurt the most. Take care of your body and wait sorry sorry take care of your heart.
Remember this two smart people can’t be in love one of them has to be a fool. Only then it will work else it won’t. At first, you feel like you can’t go a day without them. Then, slowly, it becomes a few minutes, a few hours, a few days, weeks, months, years… The absence grows, and time stretches.
Isn’t it ironic? You chose them over everything, but in the end, they refused to choose you. Did they ever truly choose you in the first place? If they did, then why did they leave?
True love is not just seen it is lived, it is eternal. When love is pure, distance becomes an illusion, and time is merely a test. If they fail that test, then they were never the one.
It’s easy to say, but painfully hard to accept. Still, everything passes. Whether we want it to or not, time keeps ticking.
Love is like a candle. At first, it burns bright, filling the room with warmth. But if one person stops shielding the flame, the wind will eventually blow it out. And no matter how much you want to relight it, some candles aren’t meant to burn forever.
But here’s the thing time doesn’t just take, it also gives. One day, the pain won’t feel as heavy. One day, you’ll wake up and realize that you don’t need them to feel whole. And when that day comes, you’ll know that losing them wasn’t the end. It was just the beginning of finding yourself.
As time passes, we learn everything. Some may lose interest in love, while others may stop believing in it altogether. But here I am I still believe in love; I just don’t believe in the people who claim it is love.
Love remains eternal, but people change; promises fade, and time teaches the hardest lessons of all.
That’s just a glimpse of what I’m going to share in this novel. If you don’t like it, don’t read it.
