Episode – "The Road to the Olympics"

Opening Scene – The Decision to Train

Years have passed since Jayden’s first Interhouse Sports Festival victory. His love for running has only grown stronger.

Now 17 years old, Jayden has developed into a top young sprinter in Nigeria.

One afternoon, Coach Ibrahim, a well-known Nigerian athletics coach, calls Jayden for a meeting.

Coach Ibrahim: "Jayden, you have potential. If you train hard, you could represent Nigeria at the Olympics."

Jayden (shocked): "Me? The Olympics?!"

Coach Ibrahim (nodding): "Yes, but it won’t be easy. If you want this, you need to give everything to training."

Jayden doesn’t hesitate. He nods.

Jayden: "I’ll do it."

Jayden’s Olympic Training Journey

For the next five years, Jayden trains harder than ever.

1. Sprint Training (100m & 200m)

Explosive Starts: Jayden spends hours practicing his reaction time at the blocks.

Acceleration Drills: He sprints short distances (30m, 60m, 100m) to build power.

Top Speed Training: He runs with parachutes and resistance bands to increase speed.

🔹 Coach Ibrahim: "Your start needs to be perfect. If you waste even half a second, the race is over."

🔹 Jayden (panting): "I’ll do it again, coach."

2. Endurance & Speed for 200m

Curve Running: He practices running the bend in the 200m to keep top speed.

Speed Endurance Runs: He runs 250m sprints repeatedly to handle fatigue.

Strength Training: Gym workouts build explosive leg power.

🔹 Coach Ibrahim: "200m is about controlling your speed. Too fast in the beginning, you burn out. Too slow, you lose."

🔹 Jayden (focused): "I’ll learn the balance."

3. Relay Training (4x100m & 4x400m)

Baton Handover Drills: Jayden and his team practice perfect baton exchanges—no mistakes allowed.

Running in Sync: He learns to match his speed with teammates for smooth transitions.

Reaction Training: Practicing with teammates until they move like a machine.

🔹 Teammate (laughing): "Jayden, if you drop the baton again, we’ll leave you behind!"

🔹 Jayden (grinning): "Not happening!"

4. Diet & Discipline

High-Protein Meals: Chicken, eggs, fish—his diet is strictly for muscle growth.

No Junk Food: No soda, no fries, no late-night snacks.

Mental Focus: Meditation, visualization, and watching race footage of Usain Bolt and other legends.

🔹 Coach Ibrahim: "Your mind must be as strong as your legs. Champions are made in the head first."

🔹 Jayden (closing his eyes): "I see myself at the finish line."

Jayden's Big Moment – The Olympics

Years of training finally pay off. At 22 years old, Jayden is officially selected to represent Nigeria at the Olympics in:

✔ 200m Sprint

✔ 4x100m Relay

As he steps onto the Olympic track, the crowd is massive—millions watching worldwide.

Jayden (thinking): "From a schoolboy in Nigeria to the biggest stage in the world… This is my time."

🔹 Commentator: "Jayden Thompson, one of Nigeria’s fastest sprinters, is ready!"

🔹 Coach Ibrahim (shouting): "Jayden, run like your life depends on it!"

🔹 Jayden’s teammate: "Let’s make history, bro!"

As Jayden settles into his starting blocks, the camera zooms in on his determined face.

🔹 Announcer: "On your marks… set… GO!"

💨 Jayden explodes forward, racing against the world’s best.
