Scene 1: Mission Briefing - Boss Lady Raiven’s Office

A lavish office, dimly lit with golden chandeliers. A massive screen displays intel files on their next target.

Raiven: "Congratulations. You all get to play dress-up. Again."

Yashiro: "If this is another ‘seduce the target’ mission, I’m out. Last time, I almost got auctioned off."

Seiran: "That was your fault for improvising."

Kenji: "I dunno, you did look pretty in that silk dress."

Alexier: "Please never bring that up again."

Raiven: "Relax, Yashiro. This time, you and Seiran are a married couple infiltrating a crime syndicate’s gala. Kenji and Alexier, you’re their ‘bodyguards.’ The target is Dominic Vasquez, a weapons dealer."

Yashiro (groans): "Great. Now I get to hold Seiran’s hand in public. What a dream come true."

Seiran: "Try not to embarrass yourself."

Scene 2: Getting Into Character - The Makeover

Cut to a private dressing room. Yashiro stares at himself in the mirror, adjusting his tie, looking uncharacteristically serious.

Seiran (leaning against the doorframe): "You don’t have to act like it’s a death sentence."

Yashiro (huffs): "I just don’t do the whole ‘refined’ thing."

Seiran: "No kidding. Try standing up straight for once."

Yashiro scowls but does as told, rolling his shoulders. Seiran steps forward, casually fixing the collar of his tux.

Seiran: "You’ll be fine. Just follow my lead."

Yashiro (grinning): "Oh? I thought I was the dominant one in this relationship."

Seiran: "You keep telling yourself that."

Scene 3: The Gala - Keeping Up the Act

A grand ballroom filled with high-profile criminals. Seiran and Yashiro enter, arms linked, exuding ‘wealthy power couple’ energy.

Yashiro (through gritted teeth): "I swear if you smirk one more time—"

Seiran: "Smile, dear. People are watching."

Kenji and Alexier watch from a distance, pretending to be bodyguards.

Kenji: "Look at them. So in sync. Almost makes me nostalgic."

Alexier: "For what? The time you ‘accidentally’ pushed me off a building?"

Kenji: "Accident is a strong word. You survived."

Back at the ballroom, Yashiro scans the room while whispering to Seiran.

Yashiro: "Two guards near the west exit, one at the stairs. You see the guy by the bar? Looks like a spotter."

Seiran: "Not bad. But you missed the one by the chandeliers. Sniper."

Yashiro tenses slightly before nodding.

Yashiro: "Alright, we do this clean. No unnecessary risks."

Seiran: "Agreed."

Scene 4: The Mission Goes Sideways

Yashiro and Seiran get close to Vasquez when suddenly, alarms blare. Someone has made them.

Vasquez: "I knew something was off about you two. A married couple who don’t even act like one? Amateur hour."

Yashiro: "You want us to act like a couple? Fine."

Without warning, Yashiro leans in close, voice low.

Yashiro: "Seiran, back me up."

Seiran exhales, his hand brushing against Yashiro’s waist as if it were second nature. The small action is enough to make Vasquez second-guess.

Vasquez: "Tch. I suppose I was mistaken—"

Before Vasquez can finish, Seiran smoothly draws a concealed dagger and presses it against Vasquez’s side.

Seiran (calmly): "You were."

Kenji watches from across the room, sipping his drink.

Kenji: "Well, that was smoother than expected. Maybe they won’t kill each other after all."

Alexier: "Give it five minutes."

The team's escape was anything but smooth, but they managed to make it out of the gala in one piece—barely. Now aboard the helicopter, the city lights shrank beneath them as they headed toward a secure extraction point.

Kenji leaned back, catching his breath. "Well, that was a mess. I swear, Raven’s gonna make us infiltrate a circus next."

Alexier, tending to a minor wound on his arm, shot him a glare. "If that happens, you’re wearing the clown suit."

Seiran sat in silence, his usual deadpan expression masking whatever he was thinking. Yashiro, however, was still riding the high of the mission. "You gotta admit, it was kinda fun."

Seiran finally spoke, his voice cold. "We barely made it out. That's not fun."

Yashiro smirked, nudging him lightly. "Come on, Seiranchi, don't be so gloomy. We pulled it off. And admit it—you kinda liked seeing me in a suit."

Seiran exhaled sharply, shaking his head. "You're impossible."

Meanwhile, Raven’s voice came through the comms. "Report."

Kenji sighed. "Mission complete, but Dario’s not dead. He’ll come back."

Raven was silent for a moment before responding. "Understood. We’ll deal with it when the time comes. For now, get back to base. Debriefing in the morning."

The team exchanged glances. They had won this round, but the game was far from over. And with Dario still breathing, they knew things were only going to get messier from here.

After a quick debrief and medical check-ups at the base, the team was given a temporary break before their next mission. Instead of returning to their individual estates, they opted to stay together in a newly secured penthouse—a temporary home where they could regroup, recover, and prepare for what was to come.

The penthouse was a modern masterpiece—floor-to-ceiling windows overlooked the glittering city, sleek leather furniture gave it a luxurious yet minimalist feel, and the faint hum of jazz music played from a hidden speaker system. It was the kind of place that screamed "elite," but for these assassins, it was just another temporary base.

Kenji flopped onto the oversized couch, stretching his arms. "Damn, this place is fancy. Almost feels like a honeymoon suite."

Alexier rolled his eyes. "Then sleep on the floor."

Yashiro grinned, throwing his arm around Seiran. "Ah, it’s just like a love nest, huh? All of us cozying up in one place."

Seiran shoved him off without a word and walked to the balcony, taking in the city skyline.

Kenji smirked and turned to Alexier with a teasing glint in his eyes. "Hmm, thinking about round two…"

Alexier froze, his face heating up instantly. "Oi, what the hell is running through your mind?"

Kenji leaned in slightly, almost whispering. "I mean, isn’t it still sore?"

Alexier’s entire face turned red before he reacted. "Yo wa mou shindeiru, senpai!"

Kenji grinned. "Nani?!"

Yashiro, watching the entire exchange, sighed dramatically. "Uhh, you two are so damn flirty right in my face. At least take it to a room."

Seiran muttered under his breath, still staring at the city. "Idiots."

Kenji laughed, throwing an arm around Alexier’s shoulder. "Relax, kid. You know you love me."

Alexier groaned, shoving him off. "I’m moving to another penthouse."

Kenji smirked. "Nah, you’re stuck with me."

As the playful chaos unfolded, Seiran proceeded to the kitchen, unfazed by the nonsense behind him. He poured himself a glass of water, his expression neutral as always.

Yashiro leaned on the counter, watching him. "You know, Seiranchi, aren’t you a little envious? Seeing those two act like newlyweds? Maybe it’s time you found someone too."

Seiran didn’t even glance at him. "Are you offering yourself?" he replied, completely nonchalant.

Yashiro blinked before breaking into a slow grin. "Oh? Is that an invitation?"

Seiran took a sip of water. "You overestimate your appeal."

Yashiro clutched his chest dramatically. "Oof. That was cold. But don’t worry, I like a challenge."

Seiran sighed, setting his glass down. "And yet you keep losing."

Kenji, overhearing from the couch, smirked. "Damn, Seiran, let him breathe."

Alexier chuckled. "Yashiro’s into pain, don’t encourage him."

Yashiro winked. "I mean, who isn’t?"

Seiran shook his head, walking away. "I need a vacation from all of you."

Kenji stretched. "Well, too bad. We’re all stuck together. So, what’s next? Another stupidly dangerous mission?"

Alexier crossed his arms. "Knowing Raven? Definitely."

For now, they had a moment to breathe. But they all knew—the calm never lasted long in their line of work.
