"ouch....I'm sorry ...I'm ..I'm really sorry"saying this Lia got up.

Evan too stood up and replied,"No...it's okay..."

Lia was so flushed by the incident that she hastened outside of Evan's home immediately...

She ran through the stairs to her home and rang the doorbell.

"Coming...."replied Lia's dad and he opened the door.

"Lia.....come in....how was the dinner?"he asked as he saw her.

"mm...dad..it was fine...I'm tired we will talk later..."she replied and entered.

"okay..."and he closed the door shut.

"Mom...."Lia called out,"I have grabbed the books that you told me to..."

"Good"her mother came out of the kitchen...and added,"How was the dinner sweetie?"

"It was fun..we chatted and laughed a lot..."I replied.

"Oh really?"she questioned knowingly, raising her eyebrows.

"wh..what??"Lia was nervous..she thought that she was caught off guard.

"Tell us about you and Evan ...it was just a dinner or ....?"asked her mother winking an eye.

"oh mom...."Lia blushed."No tell us...we were discussing about you two only..."she insisted. "Stop it mom...."Lia said and she ran inside her room ,covering her face with the books.

As she closed the door,"hufff!...."she gasped.

"For a second I thought my mom caught me..."she pondered.

She kept the books on the table...did her college work and, layed on the bed to sleep.

But then nearly around,11 p.m,she got a notification beep.

She grabbed her phone which was kept on the table near and she saw the notification.

It said,"Lia you said you wanted a dinner in return ...tell me when okay?"

"Tomorrow,,,7.30 p.m??" she texted back.

"Okay then see you tomorrow...7.30 p.m,,,sleep nicely...have a good night.."he replied.

 "Good night "she texted back.

Lia's heart melted, everything that Evan did woke the sleeping butterflies in her stomach.

She read the messages more than a hundred times ...and she slept thinking about him.

The next morning she woke...she was very elated..The day was long enough to pass but College,scrolling through reels and doing homework and study made it easier.

Soon the sun set and it was seven p.m.She took a quick bath and wore her most beautiful outfit that she had saved for a day like that....

the evening mist made her eager to meet him...The birds chirping and the cascade of dim moonlight penetrating inside through the slight edges of her window remarked eccentric beauty as they fell on her.

She looked ethereal and immensely beautiful.

She paired her outfit with glamorous red stiletoes ,gold pendants , bracelet and the black bag with golden chain and she was ready to go.

As she was waiting outside...the haze moved across making her hair move lightly but perfectly...as if complementing her and saying her all the best for the night.

Soon Evan came in his car.. Their eyes met as if ready to dive deep into the ocean of each other's eyes.

"You look beautiful"He remarked.

Lia blushed and replied,"Thanks"

"Get inside"he replied and she sat beside him.
