Episode 4 - Sabrina's encounter

Rain was not used to go to parties but she came only for Ivy. She was happy because Ivy was with her favorite one, Sean! So she was scrolling through her social media, which she rarely did. Suddenly her eyes

fixed on a particular post on her screen... It was a picture of a boy in a casual outfit, deep green mysterious eyes with dark hair. He was in L. A. Airport! Rain's lips created a sudden smile... Shane noticed that smile and think to himself,

"Woah! She can even smile like that?..."

Rain didn't notice that Shane was just in front of her. Shane carefully tried to lean on to peek in her

phone but Rain was about to stand up and *Bang!* Both of their head bumped into each other...

"Ouch!... Hey!!!" Rain looked up groaning and realised, it was Shane who she'd bumped into.

Shane shook his head in pain, "Oh God! What's your head made of??... Rock?... Or hammer?"...

"Argh"... Rain sighed, " What are you even doing here, Mr. Famous?"

- “Huh?!... What??"

- “Forget it! Tell me the matter quickly." Rain said picking up her phone, "why are you here?"

Shane cleared his throat,

"Ah! That... Umm“

A girl's voice cut him in the middle...

"Shane! Oh C'mon, let's have a dance... What are you even doing here?" A bunch of girls approached them. Shane suddenly realised that he was truly popular, so he quickly leaned on Rain and whispered,

- "Hey! You... Whatever your name is\, please help me out with these girls. What a headache!"

Before Rain could answer the girls were there. Sabrina was their leader and unfortunately, she used to know Rain from middle school. So as soon as she spotted her she smirked.

- "Oh! So Miss Scaredy Cat is here\, Heh! Shane\, you shouldn't get along with this kind of person... They're just too cheap" She mocked Rain.

Rain clenched her fist and looked away. Shane was about to say something but Sabrina meddled in,

- "She's a betrayer! What a shame! Despicable! Oh well\, Shane\, you're too innocent to fall into the trap of this bitches"

... *Slap!!!*...

There was silence for a moment. Ivy had slapped Sabrina in front of everyone. Everyone was in a state of shock. No one in school dared to mess with Sabrina, where Ivy slapped straight.

- "Shut up your mouth Sabrina! You're not qualified to speak ill about Rain!" Said Ivy in a cold voice.

Sabrina raged up,

- "You!... Dare... to!... Slap!... ME?!"

Rain's face was pale and... full of sadness. Ivy sighed and they quickly got out of there silently... Everyone was speechless and not in a mood to say anything. Sean was quite disappointed because he didn't get enough chance to talk to Ivy that much. Axel spoke out first,

- "Sabrina was wrong\, so she gets the punishment..." Sean nodded sighing.

- "Whatever... I don't understand these girls' things." Said Shane shaking his head, "They're so complicated, God! Forget it, it has nothing to do with us guys, let's go! Party's Over." All agreed and left the place too...

* At metro station*.....

Ivy and Rain were waiting for the metro. Rain was in a daze.

-"Oh, c'mon I can't stay quiet anymore! Why'd you stop me every time?!"  Ivy almost bursted in anger, "Why didn't you tell everyone what's the truth?! Why??... All the students in our middle school think you're despicable... When the truth is..." Ivy halted.

Rain clenched her fist and looked away. Ivy could understand her feelings. Suddenly two arms wrapped around Rain, it was Ivy.

- "Sorry Rain! You know... I can't see you suffering like this." She whispered.

- "Ivy... You know what happened back there\, right?... And only a few people know about it. If I told the truth to everyone\, they sure would expel us. How could I...?"

Ivy cut her in the middle,

- "Forget it! Let's start a new Tomorrow!"

*3 years ago*.....

When Rain and Ivy were in middle school there was an incident that changed their life. Rain was really good at Basketball and a top player in the girl's BB team. She was so good at it that she also had a few haters who didn't want her in the BB team. One of them was Alexis, their school's Trustee's daughter.

Everything happened just 1 hour before her BB match finals... Everyone was looking forward to Rain, expecting highly. Everyone was so excited... Because that was the first time that their middle school was in the finals of the Girls BB Championship. Rain was so excited for that match, not only Her... Ivy and her other friends too, especially Duncan! Duncan was her childhood friend as well as Ivy.

Rain was getting ready for her match when a girl told her that someone was calling her outside, her friend maybe. She ran outside without thinking. Alexis' people were waiting there. They beat her and tied her up in an ally way nearby. She struggled but no use. Time passed and everyone noticed that Rain was missing. Ivy and Duncan went out and found her but Rain was severely injured unable to move, her right arm was bleeding. Everyone thought Rain stood the whole team up in Finals and Alexis saved them as a substitute.

When Ivy and Duncan went to report to the Principal,  instead of helping, he scolded them and warned them not to tell anyone about it. Rain calmly accepted it but Ivy and Duncan were raged up. The whole school started to gossip around about Rain and everyone quit talking to her. She never mentioned it again, but the people who knew the truth were broken... That's why she started talking less and less, but years after again Sabrina brought up this thing...
