The king’s voice lowered. "You are the Hero of Fire, aren’t you? The Demon King may be dead, but his minions remain. They seek to revive him and if we allow that humanity is sure to doom."

Zane’s eyes narrowed. "And you expect us to fight his underlings?"

"They are no mere underlings," the king replied. "They possess immense power, far greater than any ordinary warrior. They are known as the Five Yakshas."

A glint of excitement flashed in Zane’s eyes. "Now that sounds like a challenge."

The king nodded. "I expect nothing less from the Hero of Fire."

A hesitant voice broke the growing tension. It was Rihanna Kensington, the Hero of Water. "Is there a way to return to the world we came from?"

The king’s expression softened with regret. "I’m sorry, The summoning ritual is a one-way path. It brings heroes to this world, but it cannot send them back."

Rihanna lowered her gaze. "I see."

"However," the king added, "some other races might possess ancient knowledge or magic that could aid you. I cannot say for certain."

Hope flickered in Rihanna’s eyes. "That’s enough for me."

The Oath Ceremony

Lennox stepped forward. "Now that everything is clear, let us proceed to the Hero’s Oath."

One by one, the heroes declared their resolve:

Zane Callister, the Hero of Fire: "I guess."

Finn Sterling, the Hero of Wind: "I don’t have a choice, do I? I accept."

Rihanna Kensington, the Hero of Water: "I accept, and I will find a way to return home."

Ivy Monroe, the Hero of Earth: "It sounds cool. I’m in."

The ceremony concluded. But as the king turned toward Jace, there was a noticeable pause.

"And what about you?" the king asked. "You were not chosen by a holy weapon. What is your magic attribute?"

Lennox answered for him. "It’s Steel."

The king raised a brow. "Steel? That’s rare, though not particularly powerful. You would make an excellent tank. We can offer you a rank in the army."

Jace shook his head. "Nah, I decline."

The king chuckled. "It seems you're an unusual one. Very well. What you hope to achieve ".

Jace "I want to explore this land"

King laughed "Haha You are a free spirit , now i understand, You may do as you please."

At the castle gates, Rihanna, Finn, Ivy, and Lennox stood with Jace.

"Are you really leaving?" Rihanna asked.

"Yeah. It’s not like I can become a hero," Jace replied.

Ivy smiled. "See you later, Jace."

"Yeah, see you later, Ivy."

Lennox stepped closer. "You could still join the army. I could even train you myself."

Jace smirked. "No thanks. I want to find my own way. If I die in the process, I’ll die like a hero , just like my mother. Right, Rihanna?"

Rihanna nodded, her eyes full of resolve. "Right."

"Don’t disappoint me, Jace," Finn added with a smirk.

"I won’t . See you guys later."

With those parting words, Jace ventured into the bustling city, ready to uncover what this new world had in store.

Elsewhere

In a lavish chamber within a distant palace, a woman with long, crimson hair sat on an ornate chair, swirling a glass of red wine. A book rested on her lap.

A servant named Jessica bowed before her. "That’s the report, my lady."

The woman’s crimson eyes gleamed. "And his name?"

"Jace, my lady."

The woman smiled . "Jace, the Steel Hero… How interesting. Keep an eye on him."

"Yes, my lady."
