Rihanna pulled back, looking straight into his eyes. “Jace, listen to me. You’re going to be shocked, but you need to believe me.”
He frowned. “What is it?”
She took a deep breath.
“We’re not in our world anymore.”
Jace blinked. “What?”
“We’ve been teleported… to another world.”
His stomach twisted. “You’ve lost your damn mind.”
“I know it sounds crazy,” Rihanna said quickly. “But think about it. Doesn’t something feel different? Like there’s energy coursing through your body?”
Now that she mentioned it…
Jace glanced down at his hands. A faint hum vibrated beneath his skin, something foreign yet strangely familiar.
“Yeah… I noticed.”
“That’s mana.” Rihanna raised her palm, and suddenly, a swirl of glowing light formed above it. With a flick of her wrist, a sphere of water materialized, floating effortlessly in the air before vanishing in a mist.
Jace staggered back. “No. No way. Am I dreaming?”
A deep voice interrupted. “No, you’re not, what this woman is saying is truth.”
Jace turned to see a tall young man with sharp features and windswept silver hair. His piercing blue eyes carried the weight of someone who had already accepted the unbelievable.
“My name is Finn Sterling,” the man introduced himself. “And like you, I come from another world but unlike you we woke up a bit earlier.”
Jace "Am I the last one".
Finn "Yes, That's correct".
Jace swallowed hard. “If all of this is real, then why the hell were we brought here?”
“That, I don’t know” Finn admitted.
A cheerful voice chimed in. “Well, if we go by manga logic, it’s probably to save this world.”
Jace turned to the source, a girl with wavy chestnut hair and an impish grin.
“Ivy Monroe,” she introduced herself with a wink. “And I’m the cutest one here.”
Jace scoffed. “I doubt that last part.”
His gaze shifted to the last figure—standing apart from the group, arms crossed, eyes shadowed.
“And what about you?” Jace called out. “You haven’t said a word.”
The lone figure finally lifted his gaze, crimson eyes burning with disdain.
“Step aside,” he said coldly. “I don’t talk to weaklings.”
Jace clenched his jaw. “What’s your problem, dude?”
“I said, step aside.”
Ivy leaned in. “Don’t bother with him. His name’s Zane Callister. He doesn’t like making friends.”
Jace muttered under his breath. “I was just saying hi…”
Suddenly, the air shifted.
A suffocating presence filled the chamber as heavy footsteps echoed across the marble floor. A powerful aura crashed over them, forcing an instinctive stillness.
Jace turned—and saw her.
A towering woman entered the hall, clad in black and silver armor. Her piercing golden eyes burned with authority, and the sheer force of her presence demanded respect. The air around her crackled with restrained power.
She stopped before them, her voice deep and commanding.
“Attention, Heroes.”
A chill ran down through everyone's spine.
“I am General Lennox, Warlord of Velmoria’s Elite Forces.”
The room fell silent.
