The alpha is coming!!!

Lysander needed to get this thing off.

His fingers fumbled against the sleek black collar, trying to find a clasp, a buckle—anything—that would let him remove it.

But there was nothing.

No seams. No lock.

Just the smooth band hugging his throat… and that cursed pin at the center.

His heart pounded. “This can’t be happening.”

Seraphina and Celeste exchanged wary glances.

Celeste nudged him. “Maybe… don’t mess with it?”

Lysander shot her a glare. “Oh, sorry, should I just accept that some psycho wolf put a magical Alpha’s Binding Collar on me while I was sleeping?!”

Seraphina shrugged. “I mean, yeah, because if you do try to take it off—”

Click.

A sharp pulse ran through Lysander’s fingers the moment he attempted to pry the collar open.

Shhhh…

A low hum vibrated through the air.

His body stiffened. “W-What was that?”

Celeste’s eyes widened in horror. “Lysander—you idiot—!”

The bracelet on his wrist.

The Alpha’s bracelet.

It had begun glowing.

Far beyond the vampire kingdom…

A lone figure stood at the edge of a frozen river, the morning mist curling around his feet.

He had been still—calm—his sharp ears tuned to the quiet sounds of the world.

Until—

Ping.

The red cloth covering his eyes twitched as his head tilted slightly.

The bracelet on his wrist burned with warmth.

His lips curled into a knowing smirk.

“…So you finally tried to remove it.”

A deep chuckle rumbled from his throat.

And with the effortless grace of a predator…

He moved.

Back in Lysander’s bedroom, panic settled in.

Seraphina grabbed his wrist. “YOU JUST ALERTED HIM!”

Lysander’s face paled. “What—how?!”

Celeste groaned, rubbing her temples. “The collar is linked to him, idiot! The moment you try to take it off—”

Thump.

Lysander froze.

A heavy pressure—like an invisible force—settled in the air.

His breath hitched.

That scent.

That familiar, overpowering scent.

Lysander barely had time to react before—

SLAM!

His bedroom window burst open.

A gust of wind swept through the room.

And standing there—leaning lazily against the windowsill, his long silver hair flowing in the breeze—

Was him.

The Alpha.

A smirk tugged at his lips as he tilted his head, his ears twitching.

“…Did you miss me, little vampire?”

Lysander’s stomach dropped.

Lysander froze.

The Alpha stood at his window, completely unfazed by the shocked expressions on the three vampires staring at him.

His long, silky silver hair swayed with the wind, the red cloth covering his eyes only making him look more dangerous.

His tail flicked lazily behind him, but his posture was anything but relaxed.

He was watching.

Waiting.

Lysander swallowed hard. "H-How did you—?"

The Alpha smirked, stepping forward. "You called me."

Lysander took a step back. "What? I did not—"

The Alpha chuckled. "That collar around your throat? It’s not just a mark of ownership." He lifted his wrist, revealing the glowing bracelet. "It summons me when you try to fight against it."

Seraphina cursed under her breath.

Celeste grabbed Lysander’s shoulders. “We told you not to mess with it—!”

But Lysander wasn’t listening anymore.

His heart was pounding.

The Alpha was inside his room now, moving too fast for him to react.

He was close.

Too close.

Lysander stumbled backward, but the Alpha snatched his wrist, keeping him in place.

A slow smirk spread across the wolf’s lips. "Tsk, tsk. Trying to run?"

Lysander gasped. His skin burned under the Alpha’s touch, his scent wrapping around him like an intoxicating fog.

“You’re trembling, little vampire,” the Alpha murmured. “Scared?”

Lysander hated how his body reacted—his Omega instincts betraying him.

“N-No.” He lied.

The Alpha laughed. “Liar.”

Seraphina snapped. “Get your filthy hands off him!”

The Alpha ignored her. His grip on Lysander’s wrist tightened slightly—not enough to hurt, but enough to make a point.

“You vampires,” he mused, voice silkily dangerous. “You act so high and mighty. But look at you now… collared, owned, and completely at my mercy.”

Lysander gritted his teeth, glaring up at him. “I don’t belong to you.”

The Alpha’s smirk widened.

“You will.”

Lysander shuddered.

Seraphina suddenly stepped between them, pushing Lysander back. “Enough.”

The Alpha tilted his head, as if considering. Then, with obvious amusement, he released Lysander and stepped back.

“Fine,” he said lazily. “But remember this, little Omega…”

His voice dipped into something dark.

“You can’t escape me.”

Lysander’s breath hitched.

The Alpha’s tail swished once before he turned toward the window.

And just like that—he was gone.
