Vlog to Victory
Vlog to Victory – Episode 1: The Beginning of Something Big
Tobi Adekunle, a 19-year-old Nigerian YouTuber, has lived in the UK for the past five years. He was born and raised in America but moved to London when he was 14 due to his father's job relocation. His father, David Adekunle, is a financial analyst, and his mother, Esther Adekunle, is a nurse. Tobi has a younger sister, Amara, who is 12 years old.
Growing up in America, Tobi was always fascinated by YouTube. He watched creators like KSI, Sidemen, and AMP, dreaming of building his own channel. When he moved to the UK, he struggled to fit in at first, but YouTube became his escape. He met his best friend Jamie at school, and the two bonded over their love for content creation. Over time, they decided to start their own YouTube group, inspired by the success of groups like Beta Squad and Sidemen.
The YouTube Group – HypeHouse UK
Tobi came up with the name HypeHouse UK because he wanted a name that represented excitement, energy, and collaboration. Seeing how Beta Squad and AMP built their teams around friendship and fun, Tobi wanted to create something similar but with a UK vibe.
Current Members (4 People):
Tobi Adekunle – Founder, main personality, vlogger
Jamie Carter – Best friend, comedic relief, editor
Malik Johnson – The wild one, loves crazy challenges
Ethan Taylor – The strategist, plans content ideas
Their channel, HypeHouse UK, currently has 15K subscribers and is slowly growing. Since they don’t have all the resources like high-end cameras or a proper studio, their content is limited. They mostly shoot videos on their phones and edit them using free software.
First Video Idea – "The £10 vs £100 Challenge"
For their first big video, they decide to do a challenge where they compare spending £10 vs £100 on a fun day out. They split into two teams—Tobi and Jamie take the budget-friendly route, while Malik and Ethan spend big. The video will be a mix of vlogging, comedy, and competition.
Tobi knows that success won't come overnight, but he's determined to make HypeHouse UK one of the biggest YouTube groups in the world.

Vlog to Victory – Episode 2: Filming the First Big Video
Opening Scene:
The episode starts in Tobi’s small but decent-sized room, where he sets up his phone on a tripod. He’s sitting on his bed, wearing a hoodie, looking excited but a little nervous. His laptop is open, showing the HypeHouse UK channel with 15K subscribers.
Tobi takes a deep breath and starts recording.
Tobi (talking to the camera):
"Alright, people, welcome back to HypeHouse UK! Today is a special one because we’re finally dropping our first big video. You lot have been waiting, we’ve been planning, and now it’s time to make it happen. The £10 vs £100 Challenge! Let’s see who can have the best day with the budget they get. Cheap or expensive—who wins? Let’s go!"
He stops recording, watches the clip back, then calls Jamie.
Tobi: "Yo, bro, we’re all meeting at the park, yeah? Bring your energy, 'cause this one has to slap."
Jamie: "Fam, you already know! Malik’s chatting bare, saying he’s gonna make £100 look mad. But man’s about to flex on a tenner!"
Tobi: "We’ll see, we’ll see. Just don’t turn up late, bro."
Jamie: "Me? Late? Never!"
Cut to: Meeting at the Park
The four guys meet up at a local park, their usual spot for hanging out and filming.
Malik (smirking): "You lot ready to lose? ‘Cause I’m about to show you how £100 gets spent proper."
Ethan: "Man’s acting like he’s in Forbes. Let’s see if you can actually make it worth it."
Tobi: "Alright, so here’s how it’s gonna go. Me and Jamie are on Team £10, Malik and Ethan are on Team £100. You have the whole day to ball out with your budget, and at the end, we let the audience decide who had the better experience. Deal?"
Jamie: "Say less. Let’s get started!"
Filming the Challenge
Team £10 (Tobi & Jamie):
They start by hitting the local corner shop, buying cheap snacks—instant noodles, crisps, and a £1 drink.
Take a bus instead of Uber to the city center.
Go to a free museum, pretending to be art critics.
Find a street performer, dance for fun, and get £2 from random people (which they add to their budget).
End the day by buying £5 meal deals and chilling at a park, laughing about their day.
Tobi (to the camera): "And that’s how you live LARGE on a tenner, bro. Man’s full, had a sick day, and we didn’t even spend everything!"
Jamie: "They ain’t topping this, trust me."
Team £100 (Malik & Ethan):
Start with breakfast at a fancy café—each order a £10 meal.
Take an Uber everywhere instead of walking.
Buy expensive clothes—Malik flexes a £40 hoodie.
Go-karting for £25 each.
End the day with a steak dinner.
Ethan (to the camera): "Yeah, see, this is the lifestyle. If you’re gonna do something, do it right."
Malik: "These man think they’re winning on £10? Nah, bro, this is how you live!"
Editing and Uploading the Video
Later that night, back in Tobi’s room, he’s editing the video on his laptop. Jamie is with him, eating crisps.
Jamie: "Yo, that street performer bit? Keep that in. Man needs to see how we actually made money while spending money."
Tobi: "Facts. Also, Malik’s flexing too much, bro. Man spent £40 on a hoodie."
Jamie: "Could’ve got two pairs of creps at Primark for that."
They laugh as Tobi finishes editing.
Tobi (uploading the video): "Aight, it’s done. First big video, officially live."

Ending Scene – Checking the Response
The next morning, Tobi wakes up and checks his phone. The video already has 3,000 views in 12 hours.
Text from Jamie:
"Bro, check the comments, people are loving it!"
Tobi smiles, knowing this is just the beginning.
To be continued…
