I couldn't believe Jean was actually going through with her crazy plan. We snuck into the chess club room, Jean dressed in a ridiculous chess piece costume.

"Jean, are you sure about this?" I whispered, trying to stifle a giggle.

Jean nodded, her eyes shining with determination. "Yes, Lina! This is going to be perfect!"

We burst into the room, and Alex's eyes widened in shock. "What the...?"

Jean struck a pose, her chess piece costume wobbling precariously. "Ta-da!"

Alex's face turned red with anger. "What is this, some kind of joke?"

Jean's face fell, but she tried to power through. "Uh, no...I just wanted to...um...show my appreciation for your chess skills?"

Jansen scoffed. "Appreciation? You call this appreciation? You're ruining my chess setup!"

Jean looked crestfallen, and I felt a pang of sympathy for her.

"I'm sorry, Jean," alex said curtly. "But I'm just not interested."

Jean's face crumpled, and she fled the room in tears. I followed her, trying to comfort her.

After that disastrous encounter, I headed to work at the circus. As I was leaving, my coworker Dan offered to walk me home.

As we strolled through the quiet streets, Dan suddenly call me and walked with me wearing some kinda clown costume

I burst out laughing. "Dan, what is that?, are you going to wear the costume from the circus ?"

Dan lookss at me confused. "Huh? What are you talking about this my clothes"

I had an epiphany. "Dan, I have an idea. My friend Jean is obsessed with colorful clothes, just like you. And I think she'd love to meet you."

Dan's eyes lit up. "Really? That sounds awesome!"

I pulled out my phone and dialed Jean's number. "Hey, Jean! I have someone I want you to meet."

Jean's voice was hesitant on the other end of the line. "Who is it?"

"His name is Dan, and he's into the same kind of colorful clothes as you," I explained.

Jean's voice perked up. "Really? "

I grinned, feeling happy that I could help my friend. "yeah , why bot meet us tomorrow , at the school?"

Jean squealed in excitement. "Yes, please! that would be awesome"

The next day, Dan and I headed to school. As we arrived, I introduced Dan to Jean, and they instantly hit it off.

I grinned mischievously. "Well, I think I know someone who might be perfect for him."

Jean raised an eyebrow. "Who?"

I smiled. "Dan's sister, Daisy. She's obsessed with board games, and I think she'd love to meet Alex."

Jean's eyes sparkled with excitement. "That sounds perfect! Let's set it up!"
