The Night of Terror

A Sinister Presence

The bloodcurdling roar sent a chill down Team 7’s spine. It wasn’t human.

Dan: "What the hell was that?!"

Riko clenched his fists, his Sharingan spinning rapidly. "Something big… and fast."

Sayuri placed a hand on her hip, her expression serious. "Stay close. Whatever’s out there isn’t normal."

The villagers trembled, huddled together inside the underground shelter. The elder’s hands shook as he muttered, "It’s here… The Phantom Beast…"

Suki: "Phantom Beast? What the hell is that supposed to mean?!"

Before the elder could respond, the ground shook violently. The entrance of the shelter collapsed, trapping Team 7 and the villagers inside.

The Phantom Beast Appears

Outside, in the ruined village, a massive silhouette stood under the moonlight.

A monstrous creature with four glowing red eyes, sharp claws, and thick, dark fur let out a deafening growl. Its body pulsed with dark chakra, distorting the air around it.

Sayuri clenched her jaw. "This is no ordinary summon… This thing is made of pure malice."

The Phantom Beast snarled before rushing toward the collapsed shelter, claws extended.

Dan: "Shit! If that thing gets through, the villagers are dead!"

Breaking Free

Sayuri: "Riko, can you see a weak spot?"

Riko activated his Sharingan, scanning the rubble. His eyes widened. "There! The stones near the left side are loose!"

Sayuri: "Then let’s move!"

Dan and Suki immediately started breaking the rubble, digging their way out.

The moment they got through—

BOOM!

The Phantom Beast slammed its claws into the ground, barely missing them. The impact sent Dan flying.

Dan: "Aghh!"

Sayuri caught him mid-air and landed gracefully. "Stay focused, idiot."

Suki: "How do we fight something that big?!"

Sayuri cracked her knuckles. "We hit it harder."

The Battle Begins

The Phantom Beast roared, unleashing a dark chakra blast. Sayuri dodged with lightning speed, appearing behind it.

"Chakra-Enhanced Strength!"

She slammed her palm into the beast’s back, sending it crashing through a house.

Dan: "Damn… that was hot—"

Suki: "Focus, dumbass!"

Riko, watching the beast recover, noticed something strange. Its wounds were regenerating… instantly.

Riko: "This thing is healing… We need to find its core!"

A Desperate Plan

Sayuri: "Riko, scan it! Where’s the core?"

Riko’s Sharingan locked onto the beast. He gasped. "It’s… in its chest!"

Dan smirked. "Then let’s rip it out!"

Suki: "Are you insane?!"

Sayuri: "No, he’s right. We have to break through its defenses and expose the core."

The Phantom Beast charged again. Team 7 split up.

Sayuri engaged it head-on, dodging its razor-sharp claws.

Dan used his speed and agility to strike from the sides.

Suki threw explosive tags, forcing it to slow down.

Riko focused his Chidori, waiting for the right moment.

"NOW!" Sayuri shouted.

Dan jumped high and slammed a kunai into the beast’s leg, making it stumble. Sayuri followed up with a devastating punch to the face, exposing the core in its chest.

Riko’s Chidori sparked, crackling with energy.

"Take this!"

He dashed forward, piercing the core with full force.

The Phantom Beast let out one final, agonizing scream before its body crumbled into black dust.

Aftermath

Dan panted. "Holy crap… we did it?"

Sayuri exhaled, cracking her neck. "Barely."

The villagers, still hiding, peeked out of the ruins. They were saved.

The elder stepped forward, bowing. "Thank you, shinobi of the Hidden Village… You have saved us."

But Sayuri’s face was serious.

"No… something isn’t right."

Dan: "What do you mean?"
