The Will of Fire – Episode 5

The day after the Genin Exams, all the newly promoted Genin gathered at the Academy once again. This time, the tension wasn’t about passing or failing—it was about which teams they would be placed on and who their Jonin instructors would be.

At the front of the room, Lord Hokage himself stood, ready to make the announcements. His name was Tetsuro Senju, a wise and powerful leader who had been through many battles. Despite his calm and collected demeanor, his presence alone demanded respect.

He cleared his throat before speaking.

"Today marks the beginning of your journey as shinobi. From this point forward, you are no longer just students. You are soldiers of the village, and your actions will determine its future. You will be assigned to teams, each led by a Jonin instructor who will guide you through missions and training. Now, let’s begin the team assignments."

Riko Uchiha

Suki (A mysterious girl who became a Genin a month earlier)

Team 7 Meets Sayuri

Dan and Riko sat in the classroom, waiting to meet their Jonin instructor. Suddenly, the door swung open, and in walked Sayuri Senju.

The moment she entered, all the boys in the room—including Dan and Riko—immediately lost focus.

Her movements caused… certain things to bounce.

Dan nearly had a nosebleed. "How am I supposed to focus with THAT?!" he thought.

Sayuri smirked, folding her arms. "Alright, brats. I’m your Jonin instructor, Sayuri Senju. We’ll be working together from now on, so don’t waste my time."

Riko managed to compose himself, but Dan still had other thoughts in his mind.

"For our first test, we’ll be doing the Bell Test tomorrow morning. If you don’t pass, you’ll be sent back to the Academy."

The Bell Test

The next morning, Team 7 arrived at the training grounds. Sayuri stood in front of them, holding two bells in her hands.

"Simple rules. Take a bell from me before the time runs out. Whoever fails doesn’t get lunch. Begin."

Dan, Riko, and Suki immediately jumped into action.

Dan rushed forward first, trying to grab the bells with speed. Sayuri dodged effortlessly and kicked him into a tree.

Suki tried a sneak attack from behind, but Sayuri blocked her strike with ease.

Riko Uchiha, frustrated, activated his Sharingan for the first time mid-battle, shocking everyone—including himself.

"Oh? You awakened it already?" Sayuri smirked. "Not bad, brat."

With his newly awakened Sharingan, Riko could finally see through Sayuri’s movements. He signaled Dan and Suki to work together.

Using teamwork, they finally managed to snatch the bells from Sayuri’s grasp.

Sayuri grinned. "Looks like you brats passed."

Dinner Celebration

After passing, Team 7 went out for dinner. As they walked through the village, men kept turning their heads, staring at Sayuri as she walked.

Dan was still thinking about the test, but something about Suki caught his attention.

He looked at her and blurted out the dumbest thing possible.

"Hey, why don’t you have a chest? Why is it so flat?"

The entire restaurant went silent.

Suki’s eye twitched in anger.

Before she could respond, Sayuri smirked and stepped in.

"Oh? So you wanna talk about chests, huh?"

Before Dan could react, Sayuri swung her chest forward, SMACKING him straight into the wall.

Dan groaned, slumped on the floor.

But through the pain, he grinned like an idiot.

"Worth it… because I got hit by Sayuri’s breasts… YEAH, BABY!"

The whole restaurant stared in disbelief.

Suki facepalmed. "I’m stuck with an idiot."

Riko sighed. "Why am I even here?"

Sayuri laughed, sitting down to eat.

And thus, Team 7’s journey truly began.
