EPISODE TWO

The lights are too bright….was my first thought as I woke up. Where the hell was I???? Oh yeah I got shot. So mostly the hospital. I didn't have the energy to get up. From the corner of my eye, I saw Lilith sleeping on a sofa in a very uncomfortable position.

She should have just gone home. I would have been fine. 

Says the one who thought she was gonna die. 

What the hell?!?!Where did that voice come from????

From your head I guess.

Umm , so apparently it can hear me.

Wow!! that's weird and creepy. So how long you been in my head????

Since you were born. I have been there with you since the very beginning. Whenever you thought u were alone I was there with you. I just wasn't powerful enough then to wake up and communicate with you. And too top it off, your original parents locked me in chains, and I could only come out when you needed me. And that's happened when you were fighting off those too jerks who shot u.

Okay, so u are saying my real parents were some creepy woodoos who locked a voice inside my head.

Nope, they were werewolves. And all werewolves are born with a wolf side, and can communicate with them. It's almost like two souls patched together in one body. And you-

Lemme finish first. You are a were wolf too. And I am your wolf. And to answer all your questions….your parents were werewolves. And no , we don't necessarily have to shift on a full moon, we are just more powerful during that time. And you read way too much shit.

Damn, such a bossy voice. And I'm going crazy. Hahahah. Talking to myself , making up some stupid theories and all this nonsense. Lol. I seriously wish he would have shot me in the head.

That's what scares me.

I heard a a snort in my head. Damn. I don't know what to believe. But it would be crazy fun if whatever she actually said was true. Ughhh, I can be a bit hypocritical.

Suddenly feeling thirsty, I tried again to get up but failed. Whatever small movement I made seemed to have woken up Lilith. Tears swelled up in her eyes and she came and gave me a bear hug. 

"What were you thinking??? U got shot !!twice!!!!! I was so scared!!! Do u have any idea!!!", Lilith said as she tried to keep her tears in check.

"Water-"

That was all I could manage to croak out. She called for a nurse, they together helped me up and she handed me the glass of water. 

"Jinx!!! You slept for two continuous days. I was so worried. I closed the shop. And-"

"What??? You closed the shop??? Why??? You put your heart and soul into it??? And I slept for two days?? It bloody felt like I closed my eyes and opened them."

"I didn't "close" close the shop. I was just a bit busy making rounds in the hospital and police station that ,I didn't have time to open it. So I just closed it for the time being. Just till u get better."

" Police station??? Weren't both of those thieves caught??"

" No, they were both caught. Police think that these weren't some normal thieves. They think that there was a motive behind."

"Why would they think that?"

It was a thought I had myself while fighting them. They were well built and trained fighters. Lucky, I had been learning lots of martial arts and fighting techniques for 15 years. But even they entered it was as though they came looking for us. They didn't search or look around. They knew what they had come for. 

" Because they were from a well known mafia gang- Black Scorpion Rose."

At the mention of that name , I remembered a very vague memory. A memory I wished to forget. A memory I wished I never had.….
