James's mind was reeling as he stared at Kiya, trying to process the fact that she was a goddess. Isis, the goddess of magic and fertility.

"How is this possible?" James asked, his voice barely above a whisper.

Kiya smiled, her eyes glinting with amusement. "I am a goddess, James," she said. "I have lived for thousands of years, watching civilizations rise and fall."

James's eyes widened as he stared at Kiya. Thousands of years? That was impossible.

"But why are you here?" James asked, his curiosity getting the better of him.

Kiya's expression turned serious. "I am here to protect you, James," she said. "You are in danger, and I am the only one who can save you."

James's heart skipped a beat as he stared at Kiya. Danger? What kind of danger?

But before he could ask any questions, Sophia spoke up. "Kiya, it's time," she said. "The others are coming."

Kiya nodded, her eyes never leaving James's face. "Come, James," she said. "We must go."

James hesitated for a moment, unsure of what to do. But then, he nodded. He had to trust Kiya.

Together, the three of them left the building, stepping out into the night. James had no idea what lay ahead, but he was ready to face whatever dangers came his way.

As they walked, James noticed that the streets were empty. The city was deserted, and an eerie silence hung in the air.

"Where is everyone?" James asked, his voice barely above a whisper.

Kiya's expression was grim. "They are hiding," she said. "They are afraid of what is coming."

James's heart skipped a beat as he stared at Kiya. What was coming?

And then, he heard it. A loud rumbling noise, like thunder in the distance.

But it wasn't thunder. It was something much worse...

The rumbling noise grew louder, and the ground began to shake. James stumbled, almost falling to the ground.

"What's happening?" he shouted to Kiya, but she just grabbed his arm and pulled him along.

"We have to get out of here!" she yelled back.

The three of them ran through the deserted streets, the noise growing louder and louder. James could feel the ground shaking beneath his feet, and he stumbled again.

Kiya caught him, holding him upright. "Keep going!" she shouted.

They turned a corner, and James saw it. A massive wall of water, towering over the city. It was a tsunami, and it was about to engulf everything.

James's eyes went wide with horror. "Oh my god," he whispered.

Kiya pulled him along, dragging him towards a nearby building. "In here!" she shouted.

They burst through the doors, slamming them shut behind them. James leaned against the doors, panting, as Kiya turned to him.

"What is this?" James demanded. "What's happening?"

Kiya's expression was grim. "This is the end of the world," she said. "The apocalypse."

James's eyes went wide with shock. "What do you mean?" he asked.

Kiya's voice was barely above a whisper. "The gods have abandoned us," she said. "The world is ending."

James felt like he'd been punched in the gut. The world was ending? What did that even mean?

And then, he heard it. The sound of the tsunami crashing against the building. The walls shook, and the doors creaked.

"We have to get out of here," James shouted.

Kiya nodded, grabbing his arm. "Follow me!" she yelled.

They ran through the building, dodging debris and leaping over obstacles. James could hear the water rising, could feel the building shaking beneath his feet.

They reached the roof, and James saw it. The city was underwater, the buildings and streets submerged beneath the waves.

Kiya grabbed his arm, pulling him towards the edge of the roof. "We have to jump!" she shouted.

James hesitated, staring down at the water below. It was a long way down, and he wasn't sure if he could make it.

But Kiya didn't give him a choice. She pushed him off the roof, and James felt himself flying through the air.

He hit the water hard, the impact knocking the breath out of him. James struggled to swim to the surface, his lungs burning.

Finally, he broke through the surface, gasping for air. He looked around, trying to get his bearings.

And that's when he saw it. A small boat, bobbing on the waves. Kiya was already on board, beckoning to him.

James swam towards the boat, his muscles aching. He climbed aboard, collapsing onto the deck.

As he looked up at Kiya, he saw something in her eyes. Something that gave him hope.

"What now?" James asked, his voice barely above a whisper.

Kiya's expression was grim. "We find a way to survive," she said. "We find a way to start again."

James nodded, feeling a sense of determination wash over him. They would survive this. They would start again.

And as they sailed off into the unknown, James knew that he would never forget this moment. The moment when the world ended, and a new beginning began...
