Lessons of the Heart
A girl named Tasneem was studying in the 9th standard. She had only two friends, Sara and Mihira.
Her nature is kind, lovable, and very strong.
She met her first love on September 3, but she didn't know what love was.
Her first love was a boy named Amer.
That day, Amer had a fight with his seniors at the back of the school because they had beaten up his friend for no reason.
The principal heard about the fight and called Amer and the other students involved to principal's office.
At that time, Tasneem and her friends were heading to the principal's office to discuss the Teacher's Day program.
While standing there, Amer stared at Tasneem, but she didn't notice. However, her friend Sara did.
Later, they went back to class, but Amer stayed on the ground. Sara then told Tasneem that Amer had been staring at her.
After hearing Sara's words, Tasneem glanced at Amer, and at that moment, Amer was also looking at her. Their eyes met.
But Tasneem had no interest in Amer.
She ignored him that day, but Amer kept staring at her continuously, at that day
Sara observed Amer’s actions and later discussed it with Tasneem. Tasneem told her, "I have no interest in him, so I'm ignoring him."
However, Sara strongly felt that, slowly, Tasneem was also starting to notice Amer.
The next day, Tasneem got ready for school, wearing a sky-blue frock with matching sky-blue heels.
After Tasneem reached school, the teachers took the F1 and F0 sections to the Swachh Bharat event, where the chief guest was the MLA.
At the event, Tasneem wondered whether Amer had come to school or not. Immediately, she asked Sara if Amer had attended school since he was in the F2 section.
Sara said, "He didn’t come to school today."
At that moment, Tasneem felt a little sad, which Sara noticed. She asked, "Why do you look sad just because Amer didn’t come to school? I thought you weren’t interested in him, right?"
Tasneem didn’t reply to Sara.
After the program ended, the bus started its journey back to school, but Tasneem couldn’t stop thinking about Amer.
When the bus finally reached school, she was the first to get down. As she walked toward her classroom, she noticed Amer sitting under a tree with a notebook on his lap, focused on his book.
He was wearing a sky-blue shirt, the same color as Tasneem’s dress, unknowingly matching her outfit.
Unknowingly, Tasneem felt happy when she saw Amer there
During the lunch break, both Tasneem and Amer finished their meals and wandered around the school ground.
At that moment, Amer started staring at Tasneem, and she unintentionally found herself staring back at him. Their eyes met, creating a brief but intense eye-to-eye contact—a moment so powerful that Tasneem couldn’t forget it.
