Claude stepped out of the car and entered the palace. The butler led him through to Prince Wade’s office. When they arrived, the butler bowed and stood in the corner. Claude bowed just as Prince Wade turned around, reading a paper.

“Claude Zephyr Flint Sherman,” Wade read aloud. “A highly ranked commoner, huh? An only child, lives with his sick grandmother. Mastered equestrian activities since he was twelve. Wants to become a famous horse racer someday. And on top of that, an Alpha who can control his own rut. How interesting.”

Claude’s eyes widened. Then he said, “I thought Prince Warren wanted to see me. What the hell is this?” He gritted his teeth for a moment before asking, “Why did you summon me here, Your Highness?”

Wade responded, “How old are you?”

Claude thought, Why is he suddenly asking my age? Then he answered, “I’m 20, Your Highness.”

Wade narrowed his eyes. “I’ll ask you again. How old are you?”

Claude hesitated, took a deep breath, then said, “I already told you the answer, Your Highness.”

Wade replied, “Did you know that pretending not to be your real age is illegal according to our laws?”

Claude responded, “I know, Your Highness.”

“Well then—”

Claude interrupted, “I may be just a commoner, Your Highness, but if you summoned me here for punishment, I’ll accept it.”

Wade smirked. “How tough… for a kid.”

Claude replied firmly, “I’ll never hesitate to protect my privacy, Your Highness.”

“Don’t worry,” Wade said. “I won’t punish you... not unless you teach me how to ride a horse.”

Claude’s eye twitched. Prince Wade doesn’t know how to ride a horse at this age!?

“I know it’s hard to believe,” Wade continued, “but my brother keeps pissing me off because I don't know how to mount a horse.”

Claude replied, “Just like the rumors said—it’s because you don’t listen to your teachers and love doing dumb things.”

“So you summoned me here just to teach His Highness how to ride a horse?” Claude scoffed.

Wade stood, placed the papers on his desk, and stepped forward. “That’s the condition I offer you—if you don’t want me to expose your real age publicly. The good thing is, we are classmates.”

Claude gritted his teeth. Grandma is in the hospital… I don’t want her finding out about this.

Claude's eyes darkened as he heard Wade's reply then Wade leaned in. “So, kid, what do you say?”

Claude stood for a moment, thinking about how to escape. Then Wade added, “If you make me a good rider—and don’t let me down—I’ll even give you a reward.”

Claude reached into his pocket, smirking. “I don’t want your reward, because...”

Before Wade could respond, Claude suddenly pulled out a fountain pen and threw it at the light switch like a ninja. The room went dark. As the butler turned the lights back on, Claude had vanished from Wade’s sight. They turned to the window just in time to see Claude about to jump.

“Me? Be a tutor for a bastard like you? Not a chance!. And if you want to expose my age, do as you please. But I’ll never teach a dumbass like you!”

With that, Claude jumped from the window. Wade ran over and saw Claude disappearing into the distance. The butler was about to call the guards, but Wade stopped him.

“Let him go,” he said, returning to his desk. “Let’s see how long you can handle this, Claude.”

Claude arrived at the hospital, his clothes soaked from the rain. His uncle Henry, visibly worried, asked, “What happened to you? Why are you soaking wet!?”

Fifteen minutes later, after explaining everything, Henry sighed. “So that’s why it took you so long to come back.”

Claude looked troubled. “I don’t know what I’m supposed to do... And Grandma—I don’t want her finding out.”

“Why not give the prince a chance?” his uncle offered.

“My life was peaceful before that bastard came into it. Now it’s a total mess!” Claude exclaimed.

“his highness Wade could still expose your age. It’s illegal, Claude,” his uncle reminded him.

Claude walked over to his unconscious grandmother, gently holding her hand. “I know. I’m just worried... What if she gets even more stressed if she finds out?”

The next morning, Claude was walking through the market with his horse. He noticed a crowd gathering but didn’t pay much attention—he was busy selling their flock. His friend Jay approached with a smile.

“I heard your grandma’s in the hospital. How is she?”

“She hasn’t woken up yet,” Claude replied, glancing back at the crowd. “Why are they gathering?”

“Oh? I thought you knew!” Jay said.

Claude tilted his head in confusion, then remembered Prince Wade’s threat. Don’t tell me he exposed my real age!

“What do you mean?” Claude asked.

Jay replied, “His Highness Warren posted that the equestrian company ***** is looking for a candidate!”

Claude’s relief was visible. His eyes widened. “Isn’t that the company the late Prince Claudio worked with?”

“Yeah! Don’t miss this chance, Claude!”

Claude recalled the scene from last night. That bastard prince...

“Who’s a bastard?” Jay asked.

Claude flinched. “I-I mean… how stupid I was not to notice the post earlier.”

“Right… Well, a bunch of men are auditioning at House Shaan today.”

“Today?!” Claude exclaimed.

“Yeah. Don’t miss this chance. Maybe Cloud Dasher will become popular.”

Claude frowned. This is his second trick… He found out about my dream and now he’s using it to manipulate me into teaching his dumbass highness. And the worst part? He’s 20… while I’m just 18… and I’m supposed to teach a grown man to ride a horse,And why did he chose me to be his tutor instead of hiring a professional horse rider to teach him?

He whispered, “I also want Grandma to be proud of me…”

At the palace, Prince Wade and Prince Warren watched as men performed horse-riding tricks for the audition. Then, Claude walked into the palace grounds. The guards moved to stop him, but Wade gestured for them to let him pass.

Claude approached, his expression cold. Wade smirked. “Finally. I knew you’d come.”

Claude just stood in front of them—silent, but resolute.
