If I hear something from my colleagues, I'll let you know." A woman in her late 30's was sitting in front of Jisoo. Currently in the physics department of a school near Jisoo's own school. The light in Jisoo's eyes slowly faded. In a somber manner, he said okay. Jisoo stood up without saying goodbye and left the office. After walking around aimlessly, he reached the rooftop of the school. He was looking down, contemplating if he should just end things. There might be a chance that he could go back if he died here, but he knows that it's possible in fantasy, not the applicable scientific theories.

"Kim Jisoo?" A girl called out to Jisoo as if startled that he was there. Jisoo looked up and saw a pretty girl with bob hair. He stared at the woman who called out to him. She was standing awkwardly when she decided to talk again. "I'm Koo Nami, you're my Hoobae in the same department in school? Not sure if you remember." She then smiled politely towards Jisoo. With how depressed he was feeling right now, Jisoo was inclined not to respond. After a while of looking at each other, Koo Nami spoke again while scratching the back of her neck. "You don't need to respond, I heard from others that you don't usually talk. I just called you out because it felt like something bad was going to happen." Jisoo thought that Koo Nami was intuitive, he almost jumped when she called him out.

Jisoo looked at the ground. With a small voice, he said thank you to Koo Nami and left. If it weren't for her, Jisoo might've jumped, unable to return to his loved ones forever. Koo Nami stayed while looking at the disappearing back of Jisoo. Aside from school work, no one was able to talk to Kim Jisoo, much else be thanked by him. Koo Nami's back and ear started to heat up out of embarrassment, "damn... He looks good up-close, he would've been popular if he wasn't so depressed, not that it's his fault he feels that way, but damn..." With Jisoo's tall stature, bulkish figure, and sharp look. He would look good as a villain in a movie, or a loanshark ML in any novel. Koo Nami was just daydreaming of a suitable character for Kim Jisoo when her phone started to ring.

Jisoo was sitting at the far end of the class when the prof announced that there would be a group project as a sub for their test. Jisoo made a displeased face, he hates making connections for the sake of passing a class. "Damn it! Who am I supposed to group with if all of you gang me up on this?" A familiar female voice spoke a few seats away in front of Jisoo, when they suddenly made eye contact, they both looked at each other startled. "Nami-ya, there's this thing called gender equality. Just because you're a girl, doesn't mean we'll make way for you." A guy in glasses said in a teasing tone to Koo Nami. A twitch in her brow can be seen through her face. "Hope you guys fail" Koo Nami walked away while putting her tongue out and dragging the skin underneath her right eye. "Hey! Stop that! So unladylike, tsk tsk." Another guy called out to Koo Nami while she walked away.

Jisoo was looking at his notes when someone tapped his table. "Hey, wanna group with me?" Jisoo looked up and saw Koo Nami talking to him. The group of guys where Koo Nami came from looked at Nami as if she had gone crazy. "...." Kim Jisoo didn't say anything and just nod. "Nice!" Koo Nami ran away and immediately went in front of the prof. The group of guys followed Koo Nami with their eyes, as did Kim Jisoo. "Okay, everyone! The 2 person group has already been filled out, everyone should be grouped by 3." Some grunted while Koo Nami looked at Jisoo smiling while her hand was on thumbs up. When she saw the group of guys who teased her earlier, she put her thumbs down while scowling at them. They just twirled their point finger indicating crazy, except for one who was staring at Kim Jisoo.
