After Jimin left, Tae stood by the window, gazing at the moon. His heart pounded in his chest, an unfamiliar restlessness creeping over him. "Why is my heart beating so fast?" he whispered to himself. "It feels like it's going to explode..."

Suddenly, the door to his room burst open. Tae jumped, his breath catching as he saw who had entered. His wide eyes locked onto the intruder, shock rendering him speechless.

Slowly, as if in a trance, Tae stepped forward and reached out, his fingers gently brushing against the man's face. Tears welled up in his eyes as he choked out, "You came... I've waited for you for so long."

Jungkook remained silent for a moment before his voice, heavy with regret, finally broke the stillness. "Doesn't it feel like this moment should have come much earlier? How many years have I waited...?" The pain in his voice was undeniable.

Tae's expression darkened, a mix of anger and sorrow flooding his features. "Then why didn’t you come sooner?" His voice trembled, demanding answers.

Jungkook sighed, his fingers gently wiping away the tear that escaped Tae’s eye. "Oh, my princess... You know I wanted to, but I couldn’t."

Tae’s eyes burned with frustration. "Who stopped you?! I know someone did!"

Jungkook hesitated before answering, "It wasn’t just about stopping me. He did it for you."

Tae clenched his fists. "So it was him. That man cares more about his stupid rules than about me!"

Jungkook gently cupped Tae’s cheek, but before he could say anything, Tae pulled away, his voice rising. "He's not my King! I hate him!"

Jungkook tried to soothe him, "Our King—"

"No!" Tae cut him off, his voice trembling with pain. "He’s NOT my King! I hate him!"

Still trying to process everything, Tae blinked and suddenly looked at Jungkook with confusion. "Wait… Who are you? Why are you in my room?"

Jungkook stiffened. Tae’s sudden shift in behavior reminded him—Tae didn’t remember anything yet. He wouldn’t remember until he turned eighteen.

Tae, growing impatient, snapped, "I'm talking to you!"

Thinking fast, Jungkook forced a calm expression. "I was looking for the restroom and accidentally walked into this room."

Tae's sharp gaze softened slightly as he noticed Jungkook’s disheveled state. "Oh... Your clothes are dirty. You can use my washroom if you want."

Jungkook nodded. "Thank you."

As he walked past Tae, he whispered under his breath, "I miss you, Princess. Soon, everything will be right again."

Tae, lost in thought, didn’t hear him.

When Jungkook returned, he stood beside Tae, watching him carefully. After a long pause, he finally spoke. "Thank you, Taehyung."

Tae blinked. "Wait… How do you know my name? I never told you."

Jungkook smirked slightly. "Who doesn’t know Kim Namjoon’s son?"

Tae tilted his head. "Everyone knows about Kim Namjoon’s son, but not many people have seen me. How do you recognize me?"

Jungkook was momentarily caught off guard but quickly recovered. "Ah... Well..."

Tae’s suspicious eyes narrowed. "Well, what?"

Jungkook chuckled, his smirk growing. "I recognized you because of your beauty."

Tae blinked, his cheeks tinting pink. "What did you say?"

Jungkook grinned. "I mean, I saw pictures of your parents in your room. That was enough to recognize you."

Tae's eyes widened as he looked around, realizing Jungkook had a point. "Oh… I see."

Jungkook nodded. "By the way, you're even more beautiful than your mother. You're truly stunning."

Tae’s cheeks burned hotter. "T-Thank you, Mr... Um, what’s your name?"

Jungkook smiled. "Jeon Jungkook."

Tae furrowed his brows. "It feels like I've heard that name before…"

Jungkook’s gaze softened. "Taehyung... Taehyung..."

Tae snapped back to reality. "Hmm?"

Jungkook smirked. "I’ve been calling you, but you seemed lost in thought."

Tae blinked, embarrassed. "Ah, sorry, Mr. Jeon."

Jungkook chuckled. "Hmm… I should go now. Thanks again for your help, Taehyung."

Tae tilted his head. "It’s 'Mansion,' not Mr. Jeon."

Jungkook laughed softly. "Goodbye. Take care of yourself."

Tae smiled shyly. "Hmm… You too. Bye."

As Jungkook exited the room, he whispered to himself, "We'll meet again, Princess." His voice was filled with longing and promise.
