Namjoon and the others entered the hall and saw Pack Leader Jiho deep in discussion. Namjoon walked up to him and greeted him politely.

Your majesty!

"Oh, Namjoon," he said with a smile.

I want to talk about something important.

"Wait for me in the throne room. I’ll be there shortly," he said with a firm yet calm tone.

Namjoon then turned to his family members, his gaze softening as he addressed them. Taehyung and Jungkook you two go to the gathering hall. We’ll speak to the Alpha about breaking the marriage, okay?
He placed a reassuring hand on Taehyung's shoulder, his eyes reflecting both determination and care. .

"Trust me, everything will work out," he added, his tone carrying a warmth that sought to comfort them amid the uncertainty
With that, Namjoon, Jin, and Hoseok headed toward the throne room

"Dad, why didn't you take them with us?"

It's not right for Tae to be there, his voice heavy with concern. I can't bear the thought of them pointing fingers at him and saying something hurtful. Tae is sensitive, he added softly, his heart aching at the thought, and he won't be able to take it if anyone says something bad. His words lingered in the air, carrying the weight of his love and protectiveness for Tae.

"Yeah, and I will protect him," he said, his voice calm but firm. His eyes showed how much he cared, and his heart was set on keeping him safe.
Both Namjoon and Jin smiled at him warmly.
As they were talking among themselves, the guard stepped forward and announced, "The Alpha is coming." The room fell silent, an air of anticipation settling over everyone. Moments later, the doors opened with a resounding echo, and the king entered.
They all stood up and bowed to the Alpha.
He entered and settled on the throne with a quiet authority. His gaze rested on Namjoon, and after a moment of thoughtful silence.

"Alpha, we want to break this engagement," Namjoon began, his voice steady but filled with sincerity. "And we seek an apology. My son..." He paused for a moment.

My son loves another Alpha, and his happiness means everything to us. We can't go against his wishes, and we won't force him into a bond that doesn't bring him joy." Namjoon's gaze met the Alpha's, unwavering yet imploring. "So, please, we humbly ask you to consider our plea."
As Namjoon, Jin, and Hoseok left the room.

"Do you know where the gathering hall is?"
Taehyung
"No, but we can ask someone," he said, his gaze sweeping across the area.
As his eyes landed on a masked man shifting nervously, a flicker of unease passed through him. The man’s darting eyes and restless movements screamed suspicion, but he chose to ignore it—it wasn’t his problem.
But as there was no one else around, he decided to go toward him

When Jungkook noticed the person growing visibly nervous, his instincts sharpened. A flicker of suspicion crossed his mind, making his gaze linger longer than it normally would. Something about the man’s fidgeting and darting eyes didn’t sit right with him. he couldn’t shake the feeling that something was off.

"Do you know where the gathering hall is?"

After that, Taehyung and Jungkook headed toward the gathering hall.

He took Taehyung's hand firmly, his grip warm yet reassuring. "Stay with me," he said, his voice steady but tinged with a protective edge. His eyes held an intensity that made it clear he wasn’t taking any chances. "I feel like something might happen during this gathering," he added, glancing around warily. "Promise me you won't wander off, okay?"
As Jungkook held his hand, Taehyung felt an unfamiliar warmth bloom within him—a sense of safety he had never known before. For the first time, someone was showing him this kind of care, this unwavering protection. It touched something deep within him, and his heart swelled with a quiet joy.

A soft smile curved on his lips as he looked at Jungkook and gently said, "Okay."
