Chapter -4 ; Strangers to Companions

While the annonymous voice keep on crying that it was all it's fault, Bricilla continued to read the book but to her surprise the book ended within a few pages leaving the left untold. Turning over the blank pages, Bricilla left with a question⁉️ on the identity of that anonymous voice.

Who was that? Why there was no people in that Island? What would have happened there? Her eyebrows twitched😟, feeling the confusion while her innerself is being bombarded with these questions.

*Anxiously flipping over the pages looking for the continuation, she doesn't know yet that they are the ones who are going to fill this incomplete story and their new journey is to be printed in those blank pages.*

Being stuck with that mysterious book📓 Bricilla didn't realise others getting back to her, even after Brian shouted, "Hey, lady!". Brian who left unanswered curiously ran to her, peeking👀 into her from the back witnessing the strange book she is flipping through.

Looking at the giant shadow👥 nearing her, Bricilla startled and stood up. Hearing her gasp, Brian laughs happily😆 for scaring her unexpectedly. "Why don't you just call someone before you scare them like a ghost!" Bricilla said with sharp glare.🤨

While Vincent, George and Mia were enjoying their free show.

"Look who is calling me a ghost,👻😱while being herself a one" he replied in a mocking tone and winked😜 at the other three when Bricilla hissed with "What?"🤨😒 "Then who will spend such a sweet reading session alone in this anonymous Island calmly. Where did you get this book from? Your other ghost friends gave that to you?"🤣 said Brian.

Being fed up with his bickering Bricilla turned towards the other three and inquired about their job on finding🔍 sources to escape. George shook his head in disappointment. A sudden shift from a good-humoured conversation to a serious one can be sensed through their silence. We could see everyone hung their heads low, assuming this as their end.

"Look! There is a ship!" A voice interrupted their dead silence. While their eyes eagerly explored the subtle sea waves and realised the prank😁 made by Brian.

"Can't you be serious atlease once in your lifetime!!!" Vincent complained, while George gave Brian a smile for making the mood light.

After some time⏳when they got tired of searching for resources, they sat together in a small shapeless positions. Brian starts his asusual bickering and picking petty fights with Brici, on the other side George tried to start a conversation with Mia. Since they never talked to each other frequently so he felt it is the right time to get to know his daughter better and also thought this may help Mia to understand him more.

Whereas the only thing Mia did is to respond to him with a bunch of nods. Vincent who secretly paid attention to this father and daughter's uneasy conversation, came into the light relieving Mia from her awkwardness.

*Why George was thinking like that?🤔 What may be the reason for them to act like strangers? Why they are not comfortable with each other ? Why can't George show his caring face to Mia, may be there's something that we don't know yet 🧐about this father and daughter relationship*👨‍👧

"I just realised we have already spent half a day without knowing eachother's names. Let me be the first,🤝 I'm Vincent" introduced himself first, to dissolve the weird silence.

"Im Brian" the man torturing Brici with his bickerings said. "We have just graduated🎓 in Business👔 management. What about y'all?" Vincent asked in a very pleasant tone.

George gladly introduced himself as an entrepreneur🤵💼 and Mia as a sophomore👩‍💻, studying literature. Again a minute silence prevailed while everybody is looking👀 at Brici for her turn where she seemed to be in a deep thinking.

Mia held Bricilla's wrist and that is more than enough to bring her back from the another world where Bricilla gone for awhile. Glancing at Bricilla, "What about you?"asked George, "Ahhh, nothing more, I'm just staying with one of my friends"👭 replied Brici with a hint of smile.🙂

*They all know that the things they just said is not completely about them🤐. There is more. That "more" can be their dark or they may have lot of baggage past but all they want now is to avoid that particular part. Will it be a hidden part for a long term or what if they are pushed to reveal that hidden part of life in this island. Let's see what is going to happen in this lonely anonymous island and what bad trip they had in their lives.
