Limit Breaker – Episode 3: The Written Test (Oh No...)

After the brutal Physical Test, the remaining candidates entered a large hall filled with desks. This time, no amount of punching, running, or fire-shooting would help—this was the Written Test.

Ryo slumped in his seat, staring at the test papers with dead eyes.

"This is actually worse than fighting a monster," he muttered.

Daigo, sitting beside him, smirked. "You should’ve studied."

"Studied?" Ryo scoffed. "I didn’t even know there was a written test!"

At the front of the room, an exam proctor in a black suit cleared his throat.

"Attention, all applicants! You will have one hour to complete this 50-question test. Your hero ranking will depend on both your physical and written performance. Those who fail... well, let’s just say you won’t make it as heroes."

A few people gulped.

"Begin!"

Aftermath

As the test ended, Ryo slammed his head onto his desk.

"I failed. I totally failed."

Daigo smirked. "Yeah, you did. Hard."

Shin adjusted his glasses. "Well, at least you didn’t get a zero."

Jin laughed. "Honestly, I didn’t do much better, but at least I passed!"

Just then, the evaluators walked in.

Manga Man snorted as he checked Ryo’s paper. "Damn, kid. You might have the worst test score I’ve ever seen."

Titan Fist shook his head. "If this was purely academics, you’d be out."

Storm Witch smirked. "But heroes aren’t made in classrooms. The real test starts tomorrow."
