Chapter 5

First thing in the morning upon Daniel opens the Nursery, Carl came to talk about Hannah.

" Hannah can stay with her grandmother instead while the papers is in process. " Carl said while sipping the coffee.

" It is better. " Daniel sighed.

The matter about Hannah has been settled and everyone who knew about it were at peace upon knowing that the kid is out of danger including Reza.

Reza went at home to shower and rest, as usual it is empty that makes every corner of it to be quiet and sad.

She changes into her robe after showering and was confused when she checked her phone, and it was 10 missed calls. It is an unknown number.

" It's me Dylan. " The voice on the other line said.

" I recognized. " Reza said nonchalant.

" So? " Dylan was questioning.

" What? " Reza forgot about their date.

" Is this it? After our deal and everything has been settled? You will forget about me? " Dylan said.

" Oh! I --- Is it today? Our first date ? I thought you're joking." Reza is not joking.

" I'm on my way, be ready. " Dylan said.

" Okay. " Reza force to smile.

Reza stands up and go to the old cabinet, she chooses a plain gray long dress that looks like a formal dress since it is the only dress in her cabinet that she owns.

Five Years Ago : In the city

Hannah who dyed her hair with white wears a black color dress, this is a big party for all the successors of different 'tribe' as they called. That time the mafia is somewhat called as 'tribe'. The city is wide that it is divided into four, the north, west, east and south.

They are feared and respected according to their reputation. They are entrepreneur and businessman who happens to control the government because of money, but of course they won't be so loud about it besides its better to manipulate in the shadows than the one who is manipulated.

Hannah is the successor of her grandmother who is the 'witch' of the South. The only tribe who accepted a woman as a 'boss'. Hannah is not against it nor like it.

That day is the day that Dylan have seen her. She appeared like a goddess, fresh and young. That time, he saw her as his next prey.

Present : Town

" Why gray? " Dylan make sure to ask about the dress.

" Oh, I thought this is a date. I dress formal. " Reza answered him unbothered.

" Well, you're not wrong but..." Dylan wanted to tell her.

" But? " Reza seems to be unbothered anyway.

" Does she want me to remember about our first meeting? " Dylan thought.

Everything is silent inside the car because Dylan did not answer her.

" Where are we going anyway? " Reza is calm outside, but she is nervous because this is the first time that she will go out with a man from what she remembers.

" Anyway, is it like this everyday? " Reza tried to let her intense feelings subside.

" What do you mean? " Dylan is looking at the road.

" Three months, for three months. We will date every day? " Reza wants to know for her to know what to expect.

" I'll let you know some other time. " Dylan said.

" Just so you know that I have work at the Night Owl around 7. " Reza said.

Dylan answer her with silence.

The Sunset

" This is the best view for the sunset. " Dylan stops the car beside the main road. It is far from the town, actually.

They go out from the car and both lean on it, they are now watching the sunset.

" So, I did not know that the ROLAND couple have another daughter. " Dylan open the can beer that they have bought.

Reza's heart started to beat fast as she is not comfortable talking about it.

" Yeah, they have another daughter. " Reza said in a calm voice.

" Why did you approach me anyway ? I want the truth. " Reza feels that Dylan is not interested in her, she thought that he was guilty about the other daughter of the ROLAND couple that is why he wants to use her as a way to ease his guilt about it.

Dylan's look at her eyes, she reminds her of Hannah. But something is missing, those eyes are not the same as before.

" It is only the first day, why bother asking, we still have 2 months and 29 days to talk about the other things. " Dylan smiled.

Dylan have already moved, he contacted someone in the city to know the background of Reza. There is no such thing as 'exactly look alike', he knew that whether Hannah is Reza or they are relatives. But from what he knew, Hannah did not mention that she have a twin sister. And in three months, he will know everything.

After a month,

" Rumors are spreading ... About you and that bastard. " May is talking with Reza in the park outside the hospital.

" I don't dare to tell your father about it because of his condition. Are you really going to continue breaking your father's heart? " May said in an emotional way.

" Or did you lose your memory about your sister's death. That bastard is the reason why she's dead! Don't you understand! He might kill you one day! " May said while slapping Reza's shoulder.

Reza don't know how to answer because she knew May wouldn't care even if she would tell how Dylan have helped her. She knew how important the real daughter to them compared to her that grandma had to take care of her since she was a baby.

She knew about it clearly but why ? " Why would I be comfortable when I am with him. They said that he is a bastard and cannot be trusted, but why am I comfortable when I'm with him ? Is it because he sees me for who I am ? He judged me for who I am, not to be compared to her sister ? " Reza thought.
