" I am saving Hannah. " Reza answered while staring the little kid sleeping at the backseat of the car.

" You know it won't end well even if you save her this time. The next day he will come again and do the same. " Dylan said with a calm voice and this time beside Reza.

" Actually I have an idea to save her without trouble." Dylan said while both of his hands are inside his pants pocket.

Reza don't like the smirk that appears in Dylan's face.

" How about you go out with me for three months ? " Dylan ask and met her gaze.

" Human life is not a joke. " Reza said.

" And I am not joking. " Dylan is serious.

" Why are you doing this? Because of sex? " Reza asked in irritation.

" Let say, you have picked my interest. Come on we are both adult trying to create a love story here? " Dylan said with a soothing tone.

" And after three months we have figured out that we don't like each other? " Reza asked.

" Then we'll call it a memory. " Dylan said.

" Fine. Help the kid and I will go out with you. " Reza said in assurance.

" Then you should go back to your post or else you'll be in trouble if the bouncer would notice that the barista is taking her time in the toilet. " Dylan said.

DYLAN, THE PLAYER

Dylan dialed the number of Sonny who played with the hoodie guy earlier.

" Dylan is that you?! So it's true! You came back ! I even went to the club to check on you man! But you're not there! Where are you?! " Sonny is enthusiastic to hear an old friends voice.

" Let's catch up another time, I want you to do something for me. " Dylan said.

"Anything man, anything..." Sonny said with a happy tone.

" Don't come back here in the club. Don't ask why. " Dylan said.

" Ugh. Okay. I don't plan to come back anyway, I have some other happy plans. " Sonny said.

" Okay, enjoy. " Dylan disconnected the call.

Kevin, Hannah's stepdad is confused when he saw Dylan at the opposite of the table.

" Who---? " Kevin asked but was interrupted.

" Enough of the chitchats. Roll the dice. " Dylan removed his coat and removed the button of his long sleeve then folded it below his wrist.

Dylan is not interested in interacting with Kevin.

" I supposed Sonny told you about the price ? You are new here ? This is my first time seeing you. " Kevin asked while the dice are rolling.

" It seems this is not the first time that you have gambled over life. Let me make the price more exciting. How about your fingers on hand and toes, I want all 20 of them. " Dylan said while smiling and his eyes are shining as if a demon ready to devour.

Dylan put up his finger and signaled the bouncer to bring the case that is full of dollars.

Kevin went into the bait, and he became excited upon seeing the money.

" Okay ! I will even give my head to you! " Kevin shouted with excitement.

Dylan smiled.

As expected Kevin has been lost for many rounds and after an hour, Dylan yawn.

" That ends now, I want to sleep. " Dylan stand.

Then Dylan signaled one of his men to come closer in the table.

" Get his fingers and head. He lost. " He said.

Then Kevin realized what he's gotten into, that the person is not joking.

" And also, there's a kid in the VIP room. I bet she's full now after eating those chocolates. Give her to the barista lady over there after her shift. " Dylan instructed.

"You! ---" Kevin pointed his finger to Dylan then the bouncer who have a big body go to him and hold Kevin while shouting.

Reza is even surprised herself that Dylan have the heart to help Hannah in secret.

THE PROMISED

After Reza's shift, she called Daniel, but it was his daughter who answered the phone.

" It is already for you to call my dad. Don't you think this is too much ? " Kristine is irritated.

" Kristine ----" Reza said but interrupted.

" You know, I don't want to say this, but my dad was already stressed from the issues in the nursery. Don't you think this is a bit too much? You are an adult, you can decide without my father. Just let him rest Reza, for Christ's sake he would be a senior soon. " Kristine said on the other line.

Kristine put down the phone.

Reza sighed while watching Hannah who was sleeping in the couch of the VIP room where Dylan stayed earlier.

She walks beside the kid and sit down that the top of Hannah's hair is touching her left leg.

Reza is thinking while watching the kid.

" If I'll bring you home, your mother might charge me with kidnapping and if I will let you stay here, it's not good for you. " Reza smiled while talking to the kid while sleeping.

Reza massage her own temple while thinking what she should do.

" I'll just bring you to the police then and file a report. " At the end, Reza decided.

" I'm sorry that you have to go through this. " Reza said.

Reza carried Hannah with her hands and ride a taxi going to the police station of the town.

The new sheriff of town after her father is Carl, who she thought was the same age as her father.

Upon hearing the story from Reza, Carl is disappointed with Lilian. " We are only living in a small town, of course we knew each other's story, but I don't have idea that Kevin - the new lad of town would do this. He came from a city, of course he would be heartless..." Carl said while typing the incident report.

" Going out of the club won't be easy, knowing that Kevin used her in gambling. It must be a dilemma going out of the club especially for you. " Carl is puzzled how Reza save Hannah.

Reza leave the part where Dylan had helped her as she don't want Carl to think any idea about them. Carl is sometimes visiting her father in the hospital , Reza doesn't want issue.
