Chapter 11:The Moment Of Revelation

Chapter 11: The Moment of Revelation

The battlefield was chaotic, filled with explosions and psionic energy bursts as candidates fought to survive against the relentless onslaught of mechanized drones.

Yet, in the midst of it all, Shane Wyne stood unnaturally calm.

His sharp eyes observed the battlefield, reading the patterns of attack. Unlike the others who desperately fought off the drones, he made no rushed movements.

That was until an unexpected attack came—not from a drone, but from another participant.

A streak of burning crimson energy shot toward him, moving at terrifying speed.

BOOM!

The ground where he had stood exploded into rubble and smoke.

Shane barely managed to sidestep, his instincts saving him from being hit directly. As the dust settled, he saw his attacker—a man in his early twenties, clad in a sleek combat suit, his smirk radiating arrogance.

"Well, well," the man sneered. "Looks like you dodged. Didn’t expect a low-rank like you to react in time."

Shane’s gaze darkened. "What’s your problem?"

"You, of course," the man scoffed. "A weakling like you has no place here. I’m just helping you leave faster."

Around them, several other candidates noticed the confrontation. Some stopped fighting the drones, sensing an opportunity to remove the competition.

Soon, Shane found himself surrounded.

Five… no, eight people. All of them First Order Awakeners, and they clearly intended to take him down.

Ireth Lorne, observing from the VIP section, narrowed her eyes.

"They’re ganging up on him?"

Beside her, Aldric Voss let out a chuckle. "Smart choice. He should’ve been eliminated from the start."

But instead of looking worried, Ireth simply waited.

"What will you do now, Shane Wyne?"

The Awakening of a Monster

Shane exhaled.

He knew this was coming.

Ever since his Awakening, he had faced mockery. His low rank had made him a target. And now, these arrogant fools thought they could eliminate him before the real test even began?

They were about to learn how wrong they were.

Without hesitation, he lifted his hand and activated his warship summoning sequence.

A deep, guttural hum resonated through the battlefield.

Then, the sky itself seemed to darken.

A massive black vortex tore open above them, and from its depths, a shadow emerged—a colossal warship, shrouded in dark energy, its sleek structure unlike anything ever seen before.

Its deep-black hull gleamed under the battlefield lights, adorned with mysterious golden runes that pulsed faintly. Its sheer presence exuded an overwhelming force, making the air feel heavy.

Gasps filled the battlefield.

Even the audience in the VIP stands stiffened in shock.

"What kind of warship is that?"

"I’ve never seen that design before!"

"Wait… why do I feel like it’s staring at me?"

The candidates surrounding Shane froze in fear.

Even those who had been confident moments ago felt their instincts screaming at them to retreat.

But it was too late.

Shane stepped into his warship.

The Battle Begins

From within his ship, Shane felt an intoxicating sense of power. The interface instantly synchronized with his mind, and the ship’s AI voice resonated in his consciousness:

[Combat Mode Activated.]

He clenched his fists. "Let’s see if you bastards still think I’m weak."

Outside, the arrogant participant who had attacked him gritted his teeth, trying to shake off his fear.

"Don’t be intimidated! It’s just a ship! We can still take him down!"

The others hesitated, but seeing the generals watching, their pride took over.

"We have to act before he does!"

They all summoned their warships.

Eight warships against one.

The battle was set.

"Attack!" the leader shouted.

The sky lit up with energy blasts as the enemy warships rushed toward Shane.

But then…

Shane moved.

His warship disappeared in an instant—not by speed, but by something far stranger.

It was as if it had vanished into the void itself.

Before they could react, a massive energy blast erupted behind them.

One of the warships was instantly destroyed.

"What the—?!"

"Where did he go?!"

Another explosion.

Another warship obliterated in seconds.

Panic filled the battlefield.

"This isn’t possible!"

"His ship is just a First Order warship! How can it—?!"

They didn’t get to finish their sentence.

One by one, their warships were torn apart with unseen precision.
