Dispute with fraudster

You are telling me all this but your face is saying something else, are you okay, yaar!" Reet was now very worried about Riya. It was only Reet who knew Riya very well and supported her at every step.

"Yes, I am absolutely fine", said Riya recognizing the tension in Reet's voice.

"You know you can share anything with me, I will always support you", said Reet.

"I know", said Riya. Riya was thinking in her mind that I don't want to hide anything from you but I can't see you taking tension because of me.

"Let's lighten the mood a bit", said Reet.

"No, not again", said Riya hitting her forehead lightly.

Reet had a habit that whenever she was sad or unhappy, she used to go to the library. When others are in a bad mood, they either party or stay to themselves, but this is Miss Reet.  He is not like normal people. His hobbies are different from others.

And I used to become his scapegoat. It is the same even today. But what can we do, if a friend deliberately gets into trouble, then a friend can do only two things, either he can stop him, or he can face that trouble with him.

And here the third option is working. Reet was dragging me along.

She took me even after I refused her many times. Now I thought that since we have come this far, we might as well read a book.

Once Reet reaches the library, she loses all sense of time and will get bored sitting here for so long.

Anyway, what else can we do here?

After taking a book from the library, Reet and I were looking for a seat to study. Then I saw a seat empty on a side, so I looked at Reet and said holding her hand.

"There is seat one in front, come quickly" I said softly to Reet and holding her hand I quickly went there. As soon as we started sitting on the seat, someone's hand came on my shoulder. For a moment I got scared. As soon as I was about to turn back to look, a voice came.

This is our seat."

I can recognize this voice even in the dark, it was Vivek with his so called girlfriend. At first he did not see me. Then when he saw me, he tried to talk to me. I ignored him and looked at Reet, she also signaled me to leave from there. When I started leaving from there, he held my hand.

And said, "Sit here with us." He still had the guts to say this to me. Wow! Some people can never improve.

I ignored his words. I did not want to keep any kind of bond with him. I am fine being alone now.

I started to leave without saying anything, but I forgot that I have the devil's grandmother with me, how can she keep quiet. For a moment I did not say anything but she, how can she keep quiet. As soon as Vivek said this, she started.

"We do not sit with people like you, lest we also become like you, cheaters."

"You keep your mouth shut, I did not talk to you.  "I" Vivek said this in a little anger.

"And if Riya doesn't want to talk to you then keep your gutter mouth shut" Reet said laughing seeing Vivek's expression.

Vivek got irritated by Reet's words. It seemed like a war was going on there. If Vivek had attacked once, Reet would have attacked him twice as much. Now this matter had become very big.

A huge crowd gathered there. Everyone was saying something or the other. Some were taking Reet's side and some were making fun of Vivek. Vivek had become a joke in the entire college by now.

Just then there was a sound from behind the book shelf, someone came out from there and said

"Is this a library or a fish market, why are you making so much noise?"  This was Aditya Sir. Hearing this, there was silence all of a sudden. The people who were enjoying all this till now, their expressions were as if someone had spoiled their fun. As soon as he said this, Reet said

"But Sir, he started it"

"I said go back to your seat" Sir said in a slightly louder voice.

As soon as he said this, Reet took me out from there without saying anything and started.

"Yaar, I thought that Sir is with us but I am not able to understand anything about him, all boys are the same, even if he is our Sir!" Reet was getting very angry now. I am also not able to understand what Sir wants? I am not able to understand anything about him. Sometimes it seems that he is with us and sometimes he behaves like he does not care about anyone.

Sir has now become a puzzle in front of me. The more you try to untangle him, the more he gets entangled.

After college got over, I went to the pub again, so much has happened in the last few days that I was not able to understand anything, my steps took me somewhere on their own, and by the time I came to my senses, I came here.

Outside the pub...

I kept roaming outside the pub gate for at least 20 minutes and kept thinking "So much has happened when I went to the pub once, if I go there one more time, I don't know what will happen. I may get into some new trouble."

But still I gathered courage and went inside. I went inside thinking that when so much mess has been created so far, it doesn't matter what happens in the future. I opened the gate and went straight inside.

When I looked inside, Aditya Sir was standing right there. The courage with which I had gone inside, that enthusiasm, that courage of mine, I don't know where it went. With the same speed with which I had gone inside, I came out quietly with twice the speed. As soon as I reached the gate, a voice came from behind

"Miss Riya"

And forced by habit, I said

"Yes Sir"

without thinking anything. After staring at me for a while, Sir said

"Now that you have come here, give me company for some time"

"Ok"

After saying this, I followed Sir. After going into a room, Sir signaled me to sit and lit a cigarette and started smoking it. I had never seen Sir like this before.

This was a new side of him, which I was unaware of till now.

I did not realize that I was staring at him for so long while thinking so much.

"What?" Sir said after seeing me staring at him for so long.

"Nothing" I said in a hurry. Now scolding myself in my mind, I said.

Some of his friends were also with him. They were all busy with themselves. Then one of them said, "Yaar Adi! What has happened to your choice? Since when have you started liking young girls?"

Listening to him, Sir said, "She is my student".

Sir did not say anything further. Perhaps his friends were used to Sir's such behavior, so they also did not ask him anything further.

Now it was 11 o'clock at night, I whispered in Sir's ear

"Sir I am getting late"

"Tomorrow is Sunday" Sir said.

"But Sir my hostel gate will be closed at 11:15" I said making an innocent face towards Sir.

"Ok, let's go" Perhaps Sir understood so Sir asked me to leave.
