episode 9

The weeks following their intense training with Broly were unlike anything Goku and Vegeta had experienced before. Day after day, the three Saiyans pushed each other to the brink of their limits, gradually mastering the unique aspects of their forms. The once volatile Primal Saiyan energy that had seemed so overwhelming was becoming second nature, even for Broly, who was learning to balance his immense power with newfound control.

Every session brought new challenges, new breakthroughs, and new realizations about the potential they still had yet to unlock.

One evening, as the stars began to twinkle overhead and the faint glow of the moon bathed the landscape, the Saiyans took a rare moment to rest after another grueling day of training. They sat at the edge of a cliff, overlooking the expanse of the mountains and forests that surrounded Capsule Corp. The night was calm, peaceful, but the air buzzed with a sense of anticipation—an unspoken feeling that something was brewing in the cosmos.

“I didn’t think we’d come this far so quickly,” Goku said, lying back on the grass, staring up at the sky. “That new form still feels wild, but I’m getting more comfortable with it.”

Vegeta, sitting with his arms crossed, his eyes also trained on the horizon, nodded in agreement. “Hmph. It’s still far from perfect, but I can feel it. The more I tap into that power, the more I understand its depths. It’s not just raw strength. It’s like… it’s connected to the core of our being as Saiyans.”

Broly, sitting a little farther away, seemed lost in thought. His large frame was still, but his eyes were filled with focus as he gazed out over the mountains. “That power… it feels like it’s been inside me for a long time, waiting to come out,” he said quietly. “But now I understand it. I’m not afraid of losing control anymore.”

Goku smiled, his carefree nature shining through as always. “That’s the spirit, Broly! We’re all getting stronger together. I’m sure we’re not even close to hitting our limits yet.”

Vegeta shot him a glance. “Don’t get cocky, Kakarot. We still haven’t fully mastered this form. There’s more to it than we understand.”

Just as Vegeta finished speaking, Whis appeared behind them, his staff glowing faintly in the moonlight. His serene smile never wavered as he approached.

“Well, it seems like the three of you are making excellent progress,” Whis said, floating gently to the ground beside them. “But Vegeta is right—there is much more to learn about your new powers.”

Goku sat up, his curiosity piqued. “What do you mean, Whis? I thought we were getting the hang of it.”

Whis chuckled. “Oh, you’ve barely scratched the surface. The Primal Saiyan form is more than just a transformation. It’s a state of being—a connection to your very nature as Saiyans, reaching back through the ages. But to truly master it, you’ll need to go beyond simply controlling its raw power.”

Vegeta narrowed his eyes. “Go beyond? What more is there to it?”

Whis looked out at the stars, his eyes twinkling as though he could see something far beyond what they could comprehend. “The power you’ve unlocked is tied to the origin of your race. The ancient Saiyans were far more in tune with the primal forces of the universe, and that connection allowed them to tap into powers that modern Saiyans can only dream of.”

Broly furrowed his brow. “Ancient Saiyans?”

Whis nodded. “Indeed. Your ancestors were not merely warriors—they were part of something much larger. The energy you’ve unlocked, the Primal Saiyan form, is linked to the ancient powers of the universe itself. To truly master it, you’ll need to understand that connection. Only then can you fully realize the potential of that form.”

Goku, always eager to learn more, grinned. “Sounds awesome! So what do we need to do?”

Whis turned to face them, his expression growing slightly more serious. “You’ll need to travel beyond the bounds of this planet. There are places in the universe that are tied to your Saiyan heritage—places where the ancient Saiyans once roamed, where their power was strongest. Only by going there can you truly understand the depth of your new abilities.”

Vegeta’s eyes widened slightly. “You’re telling us we need to leave Earth? Where exactly are we going?”

Whis smiled mysteriously. “Ah, that is for you to discover. But I will give you a clue. Far beyond the reaches of this galaxy lies a realm forgotten by most. It is said to be the birthplace of the first Saiyan warriors—the ones who originally tapped into the primal power that you now seek to control.”

Goku’s eyes lit up with excitement. “A whole new place to explore? Count me in!”

Vegeta, though more composed, couldn’t hide his intrigue. “The birthplace of the Saiyan race… If what you’re saying is true, then perhaps that’s where we’ll find the key to mastering this power.”

Broly, who had been quietly listening, stood up slowly. “I want to go too. If there’s more to learn about our power, I want to understand it.”

Whis gave a soft chuckle. “It seems you’re all eager to continue your journey. Very well. I will prepare a way for you to travel to this realm. But be warned—it is a place of great power, and not all who seek it survive the journey.”

Goku grinned, completely unfazed. “Sounds like fun! The bigger the challenge, the better!”

Vegeta smirked, his competitive nature flaring. “Hmph. We’ll see who masters it first, Kakarot.”

Whis raised his staff, and the orb at the top began to glow brightly. “Very well. I will inform Lord Beerus of your journey. But remember, this path will be more dangerous than any you’ve faced before. The ancient powers you’re dealing with are unpredictable, and the forces that guard them are not to be underestimated.”

As Whis prepared to send them on their next great adventure, Goku, Vegeta, and Broly felt a surge of excitement. They had unlocked a new chapter in their Saiyan evolution, but now, they were about to take the next step—to travel to the origin of their power and unlock the full potential of their race.

The stars above seemed to shine brighter, as if the universe itself was watching, waiting for what was to come.
