Chapter I.I { A Simple New Beginning}

Fey's world went dark, and she felt herself being dragged away. She tried to struggle, but her body felt heavy and unresponsive.

As she was dragged, Fey's mind flashed back to her mother's warnings. "Be careful, Fey. Don't go out alone at night."

Fey's thoughts were interrupted by the sound of a door sliding open. She was thrown onto a hard surface, and she felt a wave of nausea wash over her.

"Where am I?" Fey asked, her voice shaking.

One of the men laughed. "You're in a place where no one can hear you scream."

Fey's eyes adjusted slowly to the dim light, and she saw that she was alone in the van. But she could hear the sound of voices outside, muffled by the walls of the van.

"Who are you?" Fey demanded. "What do you want from me?"

The man who had laughed earlier spoke up. "We're just trying to make a living, sweetheart. And you're going to help us."

Fey tried to struggle, but her body felt weak and unresponsive. She was dragged out of the van and thrown onto the ground.

As she looked up, Fey saw a group of strangers staring back at her. They were all men, with rough faces and cold eyes.

"What do you want from me?" Fey asked again.

One of the men sneered at her. "You're going to be sold to the highest bidder. You're going to make us a lot of money."

Fey's eyes widened in horror. "No," she whispered.

The man laughed again. "Yes, sweetheart. You're going to be our ticket to riches."

Fey tried to struggle, but she was no match for the men. They overpowered her, and she was dragged away, deeper into the heart of darkness.

When Fey came to, she was lying on a narrow bed in a small, dingy room. The walls were cracked and faded, and the air was thick with the smell of mold and decay.

A figure stood in the corner of the room, watching her. Fey couldn't see their face, but she could sense their gaze.

"Where am I?" Fey asked, trying to keep her voice steady.

The figure didn't answer.

Fey's heart was racing, and she knew that she had to get out of there. But she had no idea where she was or how to escape.

One of the men walked into the room, a cruel smile on his face. "Welcome to your new home, sweetheart. You're going to be here for a while."

Fey's eyes narrowed, and she knew that she had to stay calm and think clearly. She would figure out what was going on and find a way to escape.

But for now, she was trapped.

...****************...

Fey's days blended together in a blur of fear and desperation. She was confined to a small, dingy room with no windows and no way out. The only light came from a small LED light in the ceiling.

She was not alone. There were other women and girls in the room, all of them with the same look of fear and desperation in their eyes.

One of the women, a girl who looked no older than 15, approached Fey. "My name is Sarah," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.

Fey introduced herself, and Sarah told her that she had been there for weeks. "They're trying to sell us," Sarah said. "But if they can't sell us, they...they do terrible things to us."

Fey's eyes widened in horror. "What kind of things?" she asked.

Sarah hesitated, as if she was afraid to say. "I've seen them beat women who don't cooperate," she said. "And I've heard rumors of...of worse things."

Fey felt a wave of nausea wash over her. She couldn't believe what she was hearing.

As the days passed, Fey saw the horrors that Sarah had described. She saw women being beaten and abused, and she heard the sounds of screams and crying coming from other rooms.

Fey knew that she had to escape, but she had no idea how. The room was locked, and the windows were barred. And even if she could escape, where would she go?

As the days turned into weeks, Fey's hope began to dwindle. She was trapped, and she didn't know if she would ever be free again.

But Fey refused to give up. She knew that she had to keep fighting, no matter what.

And so, she waited and watched, looking for any opportunity to escape. She knew that it wouldn't be easy, but she was determined to try.

For Fey, the only way to survive was to hold on to hope. And she was determined to do just that, no matter what horrors lay ahead.
