I went inside Myne's car and put on my seatbelt before opening my phone to check my YouTube channel. I have almost half a million subscribers. I created my channel due to my delusional disorder and I found myself continuing with contents involving makeup tutorials and such.

I am not a professional, though.

"Good luck, babe. If something happened, just give me a call," she tapped my shoulder before I leave her car.

I went to the main library to review my notes and to learn every single thing about volleyball. We have an exam later so I chose to review first.

After reviewing, I was about to read the informations Myne gave me but my phone suddenly rang. The caller is unknown but maybe it's somewhat important so i chose to answer the call.

[Hello?]

[Ms. Escareal? We're having a meeting. Are you already in the university? I'm planning to introduce you to volleyball team.]

I bit my lip when I heard Beatrix, the former manager's voice. She resigned because she needs to focus on her sick mother. She also mentioned yesterday on the interview that there's a chance she'll stop studying for a while. She's in her last semester so I hope she'll continue her studies. It's a pity if she suddenly stop.

[I'm on the main library. Is it urgent? Do I really have to be there right now?] I asked.

[No, take your time. Besides, the team captain is not yet here. We're in the gymnasium, since they will be practicing after the meeting.]

[Alright. Thank you, Beatrix.]

After I hung up, I fixed my things and went to the cafeteria nearby before going to the gymnasium. I just noticed that I forgot my tumbler at my unit so I need to buy a bottle of water. It's important to stay hydrated, that's why.

"A bottle of water, please," the guy in front of me said. He's wearing a plain shirt and sweatpants. He's tall so it's like I'm standing before a wall.

I'm staring at his back when he suddenly faced me. I was so shocked that I couldn't take my eyes off him.

I had to admit he was attractive, but he wasn't my kind of guy. However, he got better the more I looked. A well-defined beautiful face with a sharp jaw and angular cheekbones. His rich chocolate hair that had tousled griminess which promised finesse. He had strong arched brows and eyelashes so thick, it could be illegal. The complexion of his skin going well with his hazel brown eyes.

He looked down for a moment before looking at my eyes.

He was about to say something but he didn't continued. I looked at the girl on the cashier and it seems like this guy forgot his wallet or something like that but he needs to pay for the water he bought. Maybe he's asking me to pay for his water but he's hesitating.

I smiled at him before giving cash to the girl in the cashier. "Including this, please. Keep the change," I said when it looks like the cashier girl was having some problem with the change.

I was about to walk away when the tall guy suddenly asked me, "why the hell did you do that?"
