What's happening...

A bright Sunday- summer morning and our male lead Kio Harley was out for a jog. He was sweaty and almost dripped after a complete hour of jog. He came to a halt and bent down in exhaustion. His throat was dry and he panted heavily.

🄺🄸🄾 : (How did I forget to carry water with me...I feel so thirsty... I'll buy it from the convenience store.)

He raised his head and looked around. He found a convenience store across the road and went there. He stood near the frozen food corner and grabbed a bottle of mineral water from the commercial cooler. He walked towards the billing counter but stopped in the middle. The lights went off. It was pitch black in the store, so much that people around could not even reach their pockets to hold out their phone torches.

🄺🄸🄾 : Heyy... !!!

Someone heavy, bumped into Kio in the dark.

"Excuse me...!!", the person answered.

Kio could not see the person but he could make out that the person was a man. He seemed a bit, in a hurry as he kept moving even when the crowd had come to a still. His actions looked suspicious.

🄺🄸🄾 : (Why do people have to move when it's so dark. Let me grab a corner so that no one can bump into me again.)

Kio carefully shifted to a corner by his previous interceptions and placed his arm over the wall that he could feel in front of him. He moved closer and closer to the wall to avoid being hit by anyone again. The electricity in the store was restored and he found a beautiful girl standing in front of him. He was shocked.

🄺🄸🄾 : (How did this girl come here... I hope my hand is on the correct wall or she'll beat the hell out of me...)

He looked towards his hand and found it placed very correctly on the wall only and nowhere else.

🄺🄸🄾 : (Thank God it's only on the wall...)

She looked at him in resentment. Her piqued eyes made Kio notice that he had done something terrible and must make it better but could not guess what it was. His mind was lost in her, and he could not think properly. He scrutinized every part of his, but could not find a single flaw. The girl was leaning against the wall, cramped to a small corner, and Kio was over her with his hand firmly placed beside her. They were very close, almost sticking. After a lot of straining efforts by the beauty oppressed brain, he suddenly realised that he had accidentally given a wall smack to a random unknown girl. He exclaimed and moved away to release her.

🄺🄸🄾 : Ohh... I'm sorry!! It was dark and I could not see anything... I planned to get a safe corner for myself and unknowingly got hold of you...

The girl, without paying much attention, turned around after a nod and went away. She could understand that Kio's intention was not even close to wrong and it was a simple mistake.

🄺🄸🄾 : (Ohh... She seems quite compatible... If there would have been some other girl, she would definitely had screamed and yelled at me. I envy the person who has her as his girl...)

People were starring him with cold eyes. He was obviously handsome but the sights he received was not for his looks. People around him were furious and had started judging him.

"Hmph... boys now days, think they can flirt with anyone with their good looks... ", said a lady.

" Such an ill mannered brat... ", said a man.

"Wow... that girl was so lucky to smell him so closely... I wish I was there in her place... ", said another girl to her friend.

🄺🄸🄾 : (I think I should leave fast or they'll kill me.)

Kio, with the bottle in his hand, went to the billing counter for the purchase. Standing in the queue, he found that his wallet was not with him.

He searched his pockets.

🄺🄸🄾 : (Where is my wallet... I remember keeping it with me...Ohh wait...noo.)

The man who had bumped into Kio before was actually a pick-pocket and had stollen his wallet then. Kio had no choice but to leave the bottle there and go back dying with thirst. He went out of the store to look for that man.

🄺🄸🄾 : (He must have ran away there and then... As it is my impression on the people in, has been so bad after that accidental wall smack, that I can't ask for anybody's help... and now my growing thirst... More importantly, I lost my wallet and have no money with me...I'm sick of luck today. Should I break in as a burglar and force them to give me water...?? I have even lost my mind today...What's happening...)
