Tobi’s Realization

Tobi stood frozen, his heart pounding.

"No, this no fit be true."

He rushed to the door, but the masked figure—Amaka—was already gone.

Ebere stirred awake, stretching lazily.

"Tobi, why you dey shout?" she mumbled, rubbing her eyes.

Tobi turned to her, his face full of anger.

"Ebere, wetin we do for night?"

Ebere smirked. "Nothing serious, we just sleep na."

Tobi sighed in relief—until he remembered the mysterious recording.

"Somebody record us, Ebere!" he shouted.

Ebere’s eyes widened.

"Ehn?! Who?!"

Tobi clenched his fists. "I know say na Amaka! I see her nyash, I no fit mistake am."

Confronting Amaka

At school, Tobi and Ebere stormed into the common area, searching for Amaka.

She was laughing with Amina and Blessing, pretending like nothing happened.

"Amaka!" Ebere shouted.

Everybody turned.

Amaka rolled her eyes. "Wetin happen?"

Tobi stepped forward.

"Why you record me and Ebere for night?"

The whole area went silent.

Amaka’s expression changed, but she forced a laugh.

"Me? Record una? Abeg, no dey craze."

Ebere folded her arms.

"Amaka, I sabi your nyash anywhere. You think say you go fit hide?"

People started whispering. Amaka’s face turned red.

"You get proof?" she asked.

Tobi frowned. He didn’t.

Amaka smirked.

"No evidence, no case. Abeg, shift." She walked away, flipping her braids.

The Plan

Ebere turned to Tobi.

"We go catch her."

Tobi sighed.

"How?"

Ebere grinned mischievously.

"Leave am for me."

Ebere’s Revenge Plan

Ebere sat on her bed, tapping her long nails against her phone screen.

"Amaka think say she sharp. She go see."

She dialed Amina’s number.

"Babe, I get plan."

Amina sounded sleepy. "Ebere, wetin again?"

"We go catch Amaka red-handed."

Amina sat up immediately. "How?"

Ebere smirked.

"I go tell her say I get better gossip for her. When she come, I go set my phone to record everything."

Amina gasped. "You wicked, but I like am."

Ebere laughed.

"Abeg, help me tell Blessing make she come too. She go fit ask Amaka some questions wey go make her confess."

The Trap

The next day, Ebere sat in the school cafeteria, sipping Coke.

Amaka walked in, her eyes scanning the place.

"Ebere, you say you get gist?"

Ebere grinned.

"Sit down first."

Amaka sat, flipping her braids.

"Talk quick, I no get time."

Blessing leaned forward. "But Amaka, why you record Tobi and Ebere that night?"

Amaka froze for a second but quickly laughed.

"Ah! Who tell you that lie?"

Ebere clicked her tongue.

"You sabi say I be sharp babe. I no fit lie. We know say na you."

Amaka rolled her eyes.

"Okay, fine! I record una. So what?"

Blessing’s mouth dropped open.

Ebere smirked.

"Na wetin I wan hear be that." She raised her phone, showing the recording screen.

Amaka’s eyes widened.

"Ebere, delete that video!"

Ebere stood up.

"You think say you smart? You go beg me tire."

She walked out, leaving Amaka speechless.

Zoology Class: A Long, Tiring Lecture

The classroom was packed, the students half-asleep as Dr. Okoro, their strict Zoology lecturer, continued his lecture.

"Now, class, let’s discuss the reproductive system of amphibians."

Ebere, leaning back in her chair, rolled her eyes.

"Ah ah! Wetin concern me and frog belle?" she whispered to Amina.

Amina chuckled.

"Better listen before he catch you."

Dr. Okoro glanced up.

"Ebere! Since you like to talk, explain how amphibians reproduce."

The class burst into laughter.

Ebere smiled nervously.

"Err… sir, they… err… they do it like humans?"

The class erupted in shouting and laughter.

"Ebere don disgrace herself!" someone yelled.

Dr. Okoro shook his head.

"F for you!"

Ebere pouted as she sank lower in her seat.

The Slap That Shook the Class

During the break, Ebere went outside to meet Tobi.

"Tobi, you dey vex for me?" she asked, touching his arm.

Tobi yanked his arm away.

"Ebere, wetin you even want? You no dey ever get sense!"

Ebere frowned.

"Na play I dey play—"

SLAP!

The sound echoed across the hallway.

Ebere stumbled back, her hand on her cheek.

The whole class turned to look at them.

Amina gasped.

"Tobi! You slap am?"

Tobi looked disgusted.

"You just dey embarrass yourself every day. I don tire!"

He walked away, leaving Ebere frozen in shock.

A single tear rolled down her cheek.

Farouk & Blessing: A New Beginning

Farouk and Blessing sat under a shady tree near the school field.

"Blessing, I like you."

Blessing paused, her heart racing.

"You dey joke?"

Farouk held her hand gently.

"I serious. I like you since."

Blessing smiled.

"You no be bad guy like the rest?"

Farouk chuckled.

"I go treat you well. I promise."

Blessing blushed.

"Okay… we fit try."

Farouk grinned as he pulled her closer.

"You no go regret am."
