Ebere’s Confidence Pays Off

For weeks, Ebere had been chasing Daniel, making sure she was always in his space—at the gym, in the cafeteria, even pretending to be interested in his favorite football team.

But today, she was tired of waiting.

"Daniel, no waste my time. You wan date me or not?" Ebere said boldly as she sat across from him in the school garden.

Daniel smiled, shaking his head.

"You get confidence, I like am," he said.

Ebere leaned forward, adjusting her top slightly. "So wetin be your answer?"

Daniel sighed and then grinned. "Okay, fine. Make we try am."

Ebere screamed in excitement, grabbing his hand. "Ahhh! Daniel, I love you!"

"Calm down, madam," Daniel laughed.

Gift and Amina’s Reaction

Ebere ran back to the hostel to tell Gift and Amina the news.

"Guess who just got a fine, rich boyfriend?" she boasted, flipping her hair.

Gift rolled her eyes. "No tell me say na Daniel."

"Na Daniel o!" Ebere shouted.

Amina gasped. "Jesus! That fine boy accept you?!"

"Yes o! He no fit resist my beauty!" Ebere bragged, adjusting her top.

Gift shook her head. "Ebere, you be case."

Amina smiled. "I just hope say this one go last."

Daniel’s First Date with Ebere

That night, Daniel took Ebere to a fancy restaurant in town.

Ebere was excited, but when she saw the menu, her eyes widened.

"Ah! See price! Daniel, you get money for all this food?" she whispered.

Daniel laughed. "I say I go take care of you, abi? Order anything you want."

Ebere grinned. "Oya, waiter! Bring three plates of jollof rice, two chicken laps, and one large Fanta!"

Daniel chuckled. "Ebere, you no go ever change."

Ebere winked at him. "Na why you like me."

The Shocking Discovery

Ebere was feeling on top of the world. She had Daniel—the fine, rich guy everyone wanted. But something felt off.

One evening, she and Gift were scrolling through Instagram when they saw something shocking—a picture of Daniel and Blessing at a fancy restaurant, laughing, holding hands.

"Wait! Gift, na my eye dey pain me?!" Ebere screamed.

"You see wetin I see?!" Gift shouted back.

Ebere froze. "This guy dey date me and Blessing at the same time?"

She stormed out of the hostel, dragging Gift with her. They burst into Blessing’s room.

"Blessing, you dey date Daniel?!" Ebere yelled.

Blessing looked confused. "Eh? No, na my boyfriend!"

Ebere laughed bitterly. "Your boyfriend?! Na me be him babe!"

Gift gasped. "Omo, wahala don burst."

Daniel’s Insult and Ojo’s Laughter

Ebere and Blessing marched to Daniel’s hostel, anger boiling inside them.

They found Daniel sitting with his guys, drinking malt, feeling like a king.

"Daniel, explain yourself! You dey date me and Blessing together?!" Ebere shouted.

Daniel looked at them, smirked, and leaned back. "And so? You think say una be special? I fit get any girl wey I want."

Blessing’s eyes filled with tears. "You used me?!"

"Used both of una," Daniel laughed. "Una too easy."

Ebere clenched her fists. "You be wicked human being! We trust you!"

Daniel rolled his eyes. "Abeg, both of you carry una nonsense comot. I don collect everything wey I need—food, money, enjoyment. I don tire."

Blessing collapsed on the floor, shaking.

Suddenly, a loud clap echoed in the room.

Ojo, the same boy who raped Blessing, stood in the corner, laughing.

"I told you it was all my plan!" he said, grinning.

Ojo’s Evil Plan Revealed

"Wetin you mean?!" Gift shouted.

Ojo stepped forward.

"I set this up from the beginning. I knew Daniel liked money and food, so I told him to play both of una. I wanted una to suffer. I wanted una to feel pain!"

Blessing shivered. "You... you planned this?!"

Ojo laughed harder. "Of course! After what happened, you thought I would let you live a peaceful life? No! I made sure you both fell for the same guy. I made sure he took everything from una. And now, look at you—humiliated, broken!"

Ebere felt her heart racing. "You be devil."

Ojo clapped again. "And una be fools!"
