Life 101 - Season 2, Episode 1: New Semester, New Plans
The new semester had begun, and the girls were back on campus. After their Zoology switch and everything that happened last semester, they were ready for a fresh start.
Except Ebere—who had only one thing on her mind: getting a boyfriend.
A New Face – The Hausa Muslim Girl
On the first day back, the girls walked into their new class and saw a new student.
She was tall, light-skinned, and covered in a black hijab.
Gift, being the smartest and most approachable, walked up to her first.
"Hello, I’m Gift. What’s your name?"
The girl smiled warmly. "My name is Amina Ibrahim. I just transferred here."
Sandra leaned in. "Where are you from?"
"Kano," Amina replied. "I came to study Zoology because I love animals."
Gift’s eyes lit up. "Me too!"
Amina and Gift immediately connected. Both were brilliant students who took their studies seriously.
But as they were talking, Ebere wasn’t listening.
She was too busy scrolling through Instagram, searching for cute boys.
Ebere’s Mission – Get a Boyfriend
After the way Michael rejected her last semester, Ebere refused to cry. Instead, she was determined to find a new boyfriend.
"This semester, I must get man!" she declared.
Amaka rolled her eyes. "Ebere, is that why we are in school?"
Ebere ignored her. "I need a guy who will take care of me, buy me food, and—"
Sandra laughed. "And adjust your breast every time it falls?"
Ebere hissed. "Abeg, leave my breast out of this!" She adjusted her bra dramatically.
The girls burst into laughter.
New Strict Lecturer – Dr. Agbo
As they were chatting, a tall, dark-skinned man entered the class.
The whole room fell silent.
The girls whispered, "Who be this one?"
The man dropped his books on the table loudly.
"My name is Dr. Agbo. I am your new Zoology lecturer, and let me warn you now—I do not tolerate nonsense!"
Ebere shifted uncomfortably in her seat. "This one go be wahala."
Dr. Agbo continued, "There will be no cheating in my class, no lateness, and if you fail my test, forget about passing this course."
Gift and Amina smiled—they liked strict lecturers because it meant serious learning.
But Ebere?
She was already thinking of how to survive.
The Welcome Back Party – Tomorrow
After the lecture, the girls walked back to their apartment.
Sandra turned to Ebere. "You know the Welcome Back Party is tomorrow, right?"
Ebere’s eyes lit up. "Serious?! I need to find an outfit that will make men notice me!"
Blessing smirked. "You mean an outfit that will make your breast fall again?"
Ebere hissed and adjusted her chest. "You people will not kill me!"
Gift shook her head. "I hope you’re also preparing for class and not just party?"
Ebere ignored her and ran to her wardrobe, searching for her tightest dress.

The Welcome Back Party had finally arrived. It was the biggest event of the semester, bringing together students, lecturers, and even some parents.
But for Ebere, this was not just a party—it was another chance to make a statement.
What They Wore
Ebere wanted to stand out, but this time, she decided to be "classy."
She wore a black jacket—but without a shirt or bra underneath.
Her tight jeans hugged her figure, and because of her big nyash, the jeans felt too tight—almost like they were about to burst.
The others dressed differently:
Gift wore a simple blue gown with sneakers.
Sandra rocked a red crop top and high-waist trousers.
Blessing kept it casual with jeans and a white top.
Amaka chose a long Ankara dress with matching earrings.
Amina, being a Muslim, wore a long kaftan with her hijab—but today, she revealed something different:
She had a Hausa tattoo on her hand called "Lalle."
It was a beautiful henna design, but when Ebere saw it, she gasped.
"Ehn?! You get tattoo, Amina?"
Amina laughed. "It’s called Lalle. It’s traditional henna, not a tattoo."
Ebere smirked. "Hmm. Henna or tattoo, e still fine."
The Party Begins
As the event started, the school anthem and national anthem were sung.
Ebere, who was never prepared for anything, suddenly found herself forced to sing.
She stood in front of everyone, placed her hand on her chest, and began singing—badly.
By the time she finished, everyone was laughing.
Even Dr. Agbo, their strict lecturer, shook his head.
Ebere quickly adjusted her breast and muttered, "At least I tried."
Food & Dancing
After the speeches, it was time for food.
Ebere, as usual, was not shy. She collected:
Jollof rice
Fried chicken
Moi Moi
Big bottle of Coke
Sandra shook her head. "Ebere, are you eating for three people?"
Ebere ignored her and continued chopping food.
When the DJ started playing music, everyone rushed to the dance floor.
Ebere joined in, shaking her body, twerking, spinning, and bending down low.
But as she bent down, something terrible happened—
Her jeans tore.
And it wasn’t a small tear—it was HUGE.
She froze.
Gift gasped. "Ebere, close your legs!"
Ebere quickly covered herself with her jacket, embarrassed.
The Muslim Boy’s Crush on Ebere
Meanwhile, Amina’s brother, Farouk, had been watching Ebere all night.
He whispered to his sister, "Who is that girl?"
Amina smiled. "That’s Ebere. You like her?"
Farouk nodded. "I want to talk to her."
He walked up to Ebere and said, "Hello, my name is Farouk. I think you’re very beautiful."
Ebere barely looked at him. She glanced at his trousers, smirked, and whispered to Amina, "Not my type. His dick is not even up to 2 inches."
Amina was shocked.
"Ebere! Why would you say that?"
Ebere shrugged. "Abeg, I need a real man, not one like that."
Farouk, who overheard, looked disappointed and quietly walked away.
Closing Speech & Prayer
As the event came to an end, Gift gave the closing prayer.
Then, Amina was invited to the stage to give a Welcome Speech.
She smiled and said,
"Welcome back, everyone. This is a new semester, a new beginning. May we all succeed, work hard, and make the best of our time here. Thank you."
The audience clapped.
Meanwhile, Ebere whispered, "Thank God this party is over. Time to find another man."
