Chapter 4

Jungkook closed the door behind him and turned to

see one of the guards standing a few meters away from it. He motioned for him to

come closer, and the guard did so instantly.

“The omega inside is my husband,” he informed with

an impassive face.

They will come to bring him food,

but I do not want absolutely anyone else to enter,

nor let him out no matter what he says,

understood?”

The guard bowed as he

responded.“Understood, your highness.”

“If you ask for something, I want it brought to you

immediately,” he added before starting to

walk down the hallway.

“Yes, your highness!” the guard responded again,

reverently once again despite the prince

already turning his back on him.

The alpha prince walked without haste or concern

towards the kings' office. That brief moment with the omega had put him in a good mood, so a small smile adorned his perfect face.

As he anticipated, one of the oldest maids in the castle was cleaning the windows and when she saw him approaching, she stopped her actions to greet him with a bow.

—Welcome back, Your Highness.

—Thank you, Lucy. Could you order the food to be prepared and sent to my husband in his room, please? —he asked as if asking for favors for her husband was normal.

The elderly woman did not ask or question anything at all despite her surprise at hearing it, and nodded to go directly to comply with the prince's order. She had known the alpha since he was still in his mother's belly, and if there was one thing she was clear about, it was that not immediately complying with what he asked was the same as bothering him.

And no one wanted the prince to be upset.

Assured that his husband would be

fed with the best and quickly, he continued

on the path that would take her to her parents.

He raised his hand and looked at the ring that corresponded to him, and he smiled cute.

It was different from the omega's, since according to customs, the omega must wear a ring that looks

as delicate as him. And Jungkook himself was the one who chose the design of the ring that now

belonged to Taehyung.

He sighed satisfied. He could not believe that he had

achieved it.

Before entering his parents' office, he

asked another of the servants to please bring him

a black tea to the room. A request that was carried out immediately as the middle-aged beta

went at a fast pace to prepare the blessed tea.

Without knocking on the door or waiting for permission, he entered the

room and walked calmly towards one of the

individual armchairs that were next to his mother's

desk, right next to his alpha father, who

was holding a handkerchief with some blood stains against his mouth.

His alpha mother, who had been standing in front of the large window on one side of the room, came over and sat down beside her husband, her gaze fixed

on her only son.

Their gazes locked, and the brown-haired man's mocking smile only increased the anger of the pair in front of him.

"That's why you didn't want us to attend the ceremony. Did you plan to marry some random omega?" the woman asked, trying not to lose control.

Jungkook just smiled victoriously, then looked at her

with feigned innocence.

"Why do you think something like that?" he brought a

hand to his chest, pretending to be offended.

"Are you accusing me of having helped Prince Park escape so I could marry his lady-in-waiting? You have an incredible imagination, mother."

"Don't make fun of us!" the woman growled,

hitting the small table in front of them.

"Did you go completely insane? Do you even

realize what you did?" Jungkook gave her a reproachful look, and made a sign with his right hand for her to calm down.

“You lose your composure so quickly, woman. Don’t

scream, you know I don’t like talking to upset people,” he said, maintaining an

impassive calm.

Let me answer your accusations honestly, since it is rude lying to your own parents —he spoke with a clear mocking tone.

The door was knocked, and after a “come in” from

the alpha, the previous servant entered and bowed to everyone after carefully placing the cup of tea

on the small table in front of the prince.

“Thank you very much. You may leave,” he said

kindly.

While the man left the room, the kings were about to start pulling their hair at the helplessness and irritation caused by their son’s calm and confident attitude, to which even after twenty-two years they were not accustomed.

Jungkook took the small plate on which the white porcelain cup with blue details was, took

the cup by the small handle and blew a couple of times before drinking with an elegance worthy of

royalty.

After a good sip, he raised his gaze to

fix it on each one. He smiled, amused and proud of himself, before looking at his ring and answering calmly.

...—𝐈𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧....

To kill time, Taehyung looked through everything in the room, and the only interesting things he found were some books about war, army combat tactics, and some books about economics and trade. He started reading one that talked about the trade and production of jewelry, and also the history of the kingdoms that possess these precious minerals and stones, which is why this kingdom was very famous and rich. In the hour he spent reading, he learned that each kingdom was named after gems and precious stones because each of the kingdoms was abundant in them. Hence, the one he was born in was called the kingdom of gold, because this was the valuable mineral its lands possessed, and the one he was in now was a land rich in sapphire stones. Three generations ago, one of the alpha princesses Jeon married the crown prince of the diamond kingdom that does not exist today because they are one. After that alliance, as the

lands of the Sapphire Kingdom were much larger and

had good production of raw materials, They agreed that both kingdoms would be one and would be

called sapphire for the reason previously

mentioned and because sapphire is also found

in more colors than the predominant blue; such as a

soft purple, white similar to the popular diamond,

a light green similar to the olive color and orange.

Taehyung was amazed by the amount of

precious stones that existed and those that each kingdom possessed, that generally their gems did not vary in color according to the kingdom, as in the case of the kingdom that in its lands only ruby, garnet and

spinel were found. Due to the variety of colors of the same mineral, it was that the kingdom of sapphire and that of diamonds became the kings of trade and creation of jewelry and accessories. With this great trade they already had billion-dollar profits, which only increased when different generations of the Jeon continued marrying the kingdoms possessing other minerals and precious stones, as was the case

with the amethyst kingdom, which has stones with

a range of purple colors such as amethyst,

purple spinel.

Jungkook's parents' generation had married the pearl kingdom and the silver, thus making the design and quality of the jewels and accessories increase along with the profits of the sapphire kingdom that kept the largest part.

Their union with the gold kingdom only meant

much more money, and money was power. With more

money, you get better weapons and train better and

more soldiers. And that is how in addition to the jewelry trade, the sapphire kingdom was the kings of the

production and trade of raw materials, of jewels and they had the best and largest army that

even today the remaining kingdoms if they did not unite, would not even be able to face them.

Now Taehyung understood better what

Jungkook meant when he told him that he had the

world in his hands. He was heir to economic power and cavalry.

He did not know what else they had complete

power in, and just imagining it made his head hurt.

The door opened and he quickly closed the

book on his lap. He turned to look at the door and his

wolf—who would become his enemy if he continued to behave like that—began to wag his tail, happy to see him.

Taehyung had sat down on the floor, leaning his back on the bed, and watching him from below.

Jungkook stood next to him and then squatted down to be at his height. He smiled calmly at him and

looked down at the book on his lap.

—Honey, you have a beautiful and comfortable chair

to sit and read —he commented pointing with a nod to the khaki chair on one side of the room.

—I'm fine here… —he answered somewhat embarrassed to be found like that.

—It's okay then —he said. He offered his hand

to help him up, and Taehyung didn't dare

to refuse it.

—T-Thank you —he said once standing, holding

the book in his hands, then handing it to him

nervously—. Sorry, I was bored, and since you told me

not to go out…

Jungkook laughed lightly and shook his head, taking

her hands and placing a kiss on the back of each one.

“You can read all you want, honey. Then

I'll take you to visit the library, now that you are my husband, you must know every place in this castle.

"Can I?" he asked with shining eyes.

"Of course, why couldn't you?" the alpha asked, looking at him tenderly as he noticed his blush.

"I am the son of a royal servant," he reminded him, looking at him seriously. We do not receive

education because we cannot pay for it, much less do we have money to buy books or are we allowed

to enter the castle library." he looked down at the book in the alpha's hands, and sighed.

Prince Park was the one who taught me how to read, numbers, and to solve equations with the four mathematical bases.

Jungkook nodded in understanding her words, and

left the book on the bed to bring it closer from his

waist, as he had done several times and it seemed to be a way he liked to hold it a lot. The

poor omega could only let it happen, because

the alpha's touch was not rough or unpleasant,

and his scent lowered all his defenses.

"Things have changed, and from now on

you can learn everything you want," he assured

smiling at him.

The library will be yours if you want it,

and if you want to learn other things like playing

instruments you can do it too, just

ask me and I will give it to you —he brought his face closer until their foreheads were together, appearing a little more serious to demonstrate his sincerity—.

I will give you everything you want… Just ask me.

Wow, Taehyung thought he was about to have a

heart attack.

—A-A bath…

—he said, squeezing the fabric of the

alpha's expensive jacket—. I want to take a bath, please. Jungkook smiled at him again and gave him a

small, sweet kiss.

—You will have the best bath every day, then —he

said, and moved away a little to take his hand—.

Come on. Taehyung let himself be led out of the room,

to the end of the right hallway, where

two maids were outside. The omega greeted

both of them with a kind smile, and the alpha took care of the rest. —Please prepare the best rose bath for my husband —she said in such a natural way that it gave the gray-haired man a pleasant shiver—. And I want him to have the best underwear and a dress of the best quality, I want you to show him several models and if he wants to choose what color to wear, you will listen to him and you will get one of the best dresses in that color, understood?

Taehyung was going to say that he was fine with

anything, but before he could say anything both

women bowed and walked hurriedly into the room to the side.

“Umm… Jungkook,” he called.

“Tell me, honey,” he replied, turning to look at him.

“I don’t mean to rush you, but…”

he put a hand to his hair, ruffling it a little out of her nerves.

“My things, haven’t they arrived yet?”

“They should arrive any moment,” he replied, reassuring him.

“Don’t worry about

that. As soon as they arrive, I’ll have them taken to our

room, and you can arrange everything as you like.

“Fine, thanks.”

—Just relax and enjoy your bath —he kissed her hand again—. I have to do something, but I'm sure that as soon as you get out I'll be done and I'll help you.

Taehyung smiled slightly in gratitude, truly grateful to him because despite everything he had not treated him badly at any time. He sighed a little more calmly, forcing himself to relax and trust a little more in the alpha he would live with every day from today on. He had to get used to him if he wanted to endure things more easily and quickly. His mental health depended a lot on how much he adapts to his new life. Jungkook brought him out of his thoughts when he approached his neck to sniff a little before leaving a kiss in the area. The door of what he assumed was the bathroom opened revealing both women with towels and a burgundy box with what seemed to be soaps and rose petals and other flowers that smelled wonderful.

—Treat him even better than me,—Jeon asked the women. I trust my husband, do not let me

down.Despite saying it in a calm and almost friendly tone, both women swallowed hard and nodded

several times.

—Your Highness, please come with us —one of them asked Taehyung.

—Oh, of course…

—he gave the alpha one last look

before entering the bathroom accompanied by both women.

He was going to have a bath like the ones Prince Jimin took, and to say that the idea didn't excite him would be a lie.

Well, if he was going to have to adapt to that, he had to at least enjoy it, right?

Jungkook had his own office in the castle, which was curiously much larger than his parents', since sometimes it was there where meetings with other kings were held and combat tactics for invasions or defense were organized.

The alpha prince was not yet king, but he was in charge of the same things as him since he learned to do all those things, and with his alpha father's illness, his mother needed his help even though it hurt her to

admit it, because the woman did not have the knowledge or the necessary

skill to do it.

he was going to take advantage of his husband's bath time

to start with the details of the trade agreements he made with the gold kingdom.

Now that he practically controlled that kingdom as well, he had to arrange a meeting with the gold mining bosses and the accessory designers so that they

could get to work on more designs now that they were going to be able to use the gold to do so.

He wrote a letter to send to the mining boss, and when he finished signing and sealing it, he

went to the window to open it and whistled a short tune. A minute later, a beautiful white gyrfalcon with brown spots

appeared and stood on the edge of the stone window.

—Did you miss me, Brook?—he asked,

stroking the bird's head. He tied the letter with a blue ribbon around the animal's neck, tight enough so that it would not come off as he flew, but not tight enough to harm it. "Have a safe trip," he said, and whistled again so that the animal began to fly away as it had come.

He returned to his desk, and began to think of

a proposal to recruit more capable soldiers

from the golden kingdom. There were never enough soldiers, and he had to continue to ensure his

total power in battles to prevent a war.

He also had to organize the expenses and

profits of raw material exports to other kingdoms and continents. He had a pending talk with the clothing board, which was also a big business that

generated millions each year. Fashion was something that, he believed, should be constantly growing

and vary in styles, so every three months he met

with them to approve and suggest ideas for dresses andsuits.

Now he was also going to ask for the best designs of dresses for his husband, because he was only going to give him the best of the best.

He was going to give him the best dresses; the best

jewels, the best desserts and meals, the best

shoes, all the best was going to be for his precious

husband. I would give him the world, to make it his.

That way, he would never be able to leave it.
