The First Great War
Long before Kaiden ascended the throne, before he became the harbinger of destruction and the ruler of demons, he was just another soul struggling to survive the chaos of war. The First Great War, a brutal conflict between humans, demons, and elves, had raged for three long years, leaving devastation in its wake.
At the helm of the demon forces stood Varkos Nightbane, a ruler of unparalleled might. Under his command, the demon race wielded the largest and strongest army, their bodies forged for war, their strength unmatched. The human prince named Aldric Valmore newly crowned as king after his father perished in battle—struggled to command the second-largest army. Though physically weaker and lacking mastery in magic, humanity compensated with technology, ancient weapons, and the ability to summon heroes from another world. Meanwhile, the elves, led by Aeron Sylvaris, descended from a noble lineage of high elves, were graced by the very essence of nature’s mana. Their elite warriors wielded up to seventh-tier magic, making them formidable foes.
Other races, caught in the storm of war, chose sides. Goblins, orcs, and various monstrous creatures fought under the demons' banner, while the dwarves, bound by ancient pacts, stood with the elves.

A Demon’s Struggle to Survive
Amidst this bloodshed, a young demon named Kaiden wandered the battlefields, surviving on sheer instinct. The war had claimed his parents, leaving him alone in a world that cared little for the weak. Hunger and desperation had driven him to do unspeakable things—looting corpses for food and weapons, stealing from the dead and dying, and fighting both enemy and ally just to stay alive.
One night, while scavenging the battlefield after a clash, Kaiden spotted movement behind a fallen horse. His sharp eyes caught a glimpse of silver hair and pointed ears—a young elf, no older than himself, trembling in fear.
“Hey! What are you doing here? This isn’t a place for a kid, you know.” His voice held no malice, only curiosity.
The girl’s violet eyes widened as she recognized the horns atop his head. Panic set in, and she began to sob. “Go away, demon! Don’t eat me! I’m a good child!”
Kaiden blinked, momentarily stunned. Then, with a scoff, he reached into his tattered pocket, pulling out a small piece of stale bread. “Demons don’t eat elves, you idiot. Here, take this.”
Hesitant yet starving, the girl grabbed the bread, drooling as she devoured it. Kaiden watched her with amusement. “No one's going to steal it from you. Eat slowly, or you’ll choke.”
Once she finished, she wiped her mouth and looked at him with newfound curiosity. “Thank you, Mr. Demon. You’re not as bad as the others. What’s your name?”
“Kaiden.”
“I’m Silvy!”
From that moment, an unbreakable bond was formed.

The War’s Final Stages & Betrayal
Kaiden and Silvy became inseparable. They survived the war together—Silvy, an aspiring alchemist and conjurer, and Kaiden, a warrior who, though unable to fully control his rare dark-element magic, wielded immense potential. Their hardships forged them into skilled fighters.
As the war neared its conclusion, the humans and elves formed an alliance against the demons. Though the demon army was unmatched in sheer strength, they found themselves outnumbered and strategically outmaneuvered. Forced to retreat, the demons began losing ground.
Then came the greatest betrayal in history.
With the demons driven back, humanity turned against the elves, unleashing their ancient weapons in a devastating attack. The elven army, already weakened, suffered catastrophic losses. Betrayed and overpowered, they had no choice but to flee the battlefield.
In the chaos, Kaiden managed to reunite Silvy with her people. As they parted, she clung to him, tears streaming down her face. “No matter what happens, if you ever need me, you will always be welcome. I swear it.”
The First Great War ended with humanity’s victory. Some called it a brilliant strategy, others, a shameless betrayal. Regardless, the demons were left broken, their armies crippled, their strongest warriors dead.
