Chapter 11-Telling Truths part 2

Annie : The boy , I couldn't just leave him there to die.

( eyes start to water) The boy I tried to trick but ended up falling in love with him. *falls to the floor*

Kaine : Mom?! * walks to her*

Annie: * blood spills down her face to the floor too*

Wilbert : Step away from her ,Kaine now. (runs to Annie and carries her in his arms .)

Alice: I will go now , tend to your mother.

Wilbert stares at her for a moment while holding her. This is like that time .. Annie come back!!

Annie wakes up next to a valley.The sun is setting.

*Jensen : You are making them worry.

Annie: Jensen !?? * turns around* *How is this ...?

Jensen hugs Annie close . Annie hugs back tightly and cries out.

Jensen : You finally told them ...I thought you were going to keep it secret until the end.

Annie : I tried too, I really did , but William had to get that stupid gun. Ruined it all in one day ,after years of protecting him.

Jensen: Don't worry about it , you did the best you could. I made it possible for him not to be paralysed.

Annie : The fact I couldn't tell you back then still -

Jensen : ( kisses her cheek ) Dwelling on the past only hurts ones heart. You must move -

Annie : No !!! I will not move on !! I have the right to love as many as I want. There's more than one heart beating in my chest.

Jensen : ( smells her hair ) You must move on , you told them you fell in love with Wilbert too. I'm glad you did , because he's loved you also since you saved him. When you live your life,love ...live again ...I'm not stopping you . We spent a great time together.Even if it was a year and a half dating.

Annie : Take me with you... I don't want this life without you. (sniff)

Jensen : It's not your time yet ...maybe in the after life we will see each other again.

Annie: *I hope we do...

Jensen : Visit me at my grave ,you haven't since that day.

Annie: ( kisses Jensen softly) I don't want to leave yet* ...

Annie sleeps on his lap.They both sleep.In a peaceful sleep together.

Back with Wilbert and Kaine.

Kaine :Dad , I know you must have heard her.

Wilbert : It's true , back then I saw how happy she was with Jensen. I thought to myself I have no chance ,they been on dates ,eat together , held hands. Probably even kissed.

Kaine : Why did you wait so long?

Wilbert's mind triggers a ****memory****. With Jensen age 19 and Wilbert 18.

Jensen : Why did you wait so long? Why couldn't you just confessed to her as a kid.?

Wilbert : Back then she had had Orion...

Jensen : You better decide quickly because ,someone will steal her away.

Wilbert :(yells at Jensen ) WHY DONT YOU JUST TELL HER !!? INSTEAD OF MAKING FUN OF ME !!!

Jensen: I am telling you because I will write her a note and I will confess to Annie .

Wilbert: Go ahead ,her parents won't accept me.

Jensen : You have my blessing if you do marry her ,if and when I die.

Wilbert : Wait ...what are you planning?!

Jensen :Just know that okay...I have a feeling something is going to happen to me.

Back to Kaine and Alice and Wilbert.

Kaine : Dad ?! yohooo....you spaced out .

Wilbert : I need to get out of here , you tend to her.

( walks away)

Kaine : I don't know why ,can't you just tell me the truth!! Why is this happening now and just when I'm about to choose a guy I probably don't know.

Wilbert: That's why you go on dates ,spend time together and enjoy your time with the person.

Kaine : Why hide it though ?

Wilbert : I DIDN'T HIDE ANYTHING!! IT WAS ALL YOUR MOTHER!! She planned all this I bet from the beginning. I even fell for it. ( walks away faster).

Kaine : Dad wait !! ( sees her father walk away)

Back in Kaine Room ,she writes in the diary.

*I have noticed that either knowing a truth or telling the truth still ends up badly in the end. Bonds and trusts are broken . Things such as thoughts are looked back and you see yourself being pitied by your own family. The truth sends ones on a rampage or just depression. Seeing my father like this doesn't look to good . I wish what ever happened in the courtyard stopped ,I wish ...I stayed there and stopped my brother from getting hurt. My sister Marialie must feel the worst in this ,she shot her brother and saw his blood not only spill in his agony. I can't help but think what kind of blood do I have ?

I mean a little cut just to see my curiosity.

I still think mom was not using my father . I mean her smile was sad but was it because of the sickness or because of her secret? I want to know the truth.

I know ,knowing nothiing is better than knowing at all*.

Kaine closes her diary and looks around the room .

Kaine : Is that the rain ?! (Sees her mother walking out ) Mom !?
