Chapter 4 - I'm A Bad Sister

With  Sybill, Kaine, Alice , and Heiji in the room of healing Alois. 

They are all sitting on chairs around the bed .

Heiji : To think they didn't allow  younger people here...I should of stayed with them.

Sybill : There was no way , you had to be here because I need to tell you all ,the status of Alois.

Alice : I already seen so much blood ,my mom is going to kill me.

Kaine : No she will not , I will tell her what happened and she will understand .

Alice : Lady Kaine you don't understand!! This is the heir of my family and if he can't move or -

Sybill : I will stop you there Alice, Dr, Lane told me that his condition is very treatable if you take care of him .

He just won't be speaking for the mean time.

Alice : Well they are going to kill me-

Alois reaches for Alice's hand and  warmly smiles at her. 

Alice grips his hand back and tried not to cry .

Sybill : What ever you do Alois don't speak , you have to recover from this injury. Don't worry about anything just think about recovering.

Heiji : You had us worried there Alois , but we are glad you mad it through .

Sybill : When you are ready to go Alois ,it's late at night and we need to go.

Alois nods yes to go now and the rest get up to go. 

At the residence of Kaine , everyone else is shocked of how the mansion looks like.

Sybill : Wow ,did not imagine the place being like this at all. ( looks around ) 

Alice : The good thing is that Alois can walk now .

Serra : Why wouldn't he walk Alice ?

Everyone gets startled and freeze up.

Allent : We heard a poor boy got attacked at the festival and we didn't get any other leads.

Sybill : I helped and found that poor boy and I am sorry to say that it is ... He just can't speak at the moment.

Alois turns around slowly and stares at his parents.

Allent : I was about to ask about the blood in each of your clothing .

Serra : My poor baby ! ( looks at Alois and lets him walk inside the house)

Kaine : Sir, I assure you we tried our best to take care of him . He was going to bring us food when it all happen.

Allent : I told Alice to go with him to not leave him alone, where did you go young lady ?

Alice: ( closes eyes ) I - I was with Lady Kaine and the rest having fun .

Allent : Fun?, you rather have fun than to take care of your brother ? He is the heir of this family and having him mute won't help me.

Heiji : My sister paid for his treatment but I just ask that you help your son .

Allent : Did you at least see his attacker ?

Sybill : When I found him the accident had happen , I am very sorry that I am of no help .

Allent : No ,you did help ,you helped on letting him live ,I thank you for that so much .

Alice : I am a bad sister ,to think I didn't go with him . I always go with him why did I decide not to this time.

Allent : Alice stop ! I am not blaming you or anything ! Alice ! ( walks to Alice)

Alice : NO! IF I JUST WENT WITH HIM TO THE FOOD STAND HE WOULD BE FINE ! ALL FINE !

Kaine : Alice snap out of it ! What's wrong with you ?

Alice : I AM A BAD SISTER !! IT'S MY FAULT ! I AM SORRY ALOIS, YOUR SISTER HAS FAILED YOU AND THE FAMILY AEGIR !! ( Laughs out )

Allent: Alice my dear ,you can't blame yourself , you didn't know this was going to happen . This was meant to happen for a reason!!

Alice then faints again ( falls to the ground)

Kaine : This is the second time she's fainted .

Allent : No way ,Is it really ? If this has happened before it is because she feels responsible .

Sybill : So was that Alice's guilt talking ?

Allent : I know it sounds weird but ,yes it's her power she inherited from my mother.

Kaine : No wonder she snapped at me once ,but I just brushed it out.

Allent : She didn't try to hurt you did she ?

Kaine : No, but should I be worried for it ,later on ?

Allent : Maybe , next time just be ready for anything.

Sybill : Well it is getting late we leave you with her ,I guess...let's go Heiji .

Allent: Wait ,I now recognize you two ...Fellini Family is it? Your brother is a spitting image of Orion .

Heiji : Is that a bad thing ?

Allent : It's not but it reminds me of a time we spent back then ,you should ask him . Thank you for helping my children sorry for the trouble they caused you. ( lowers his head) .

Kaine : No need for that Allent it was out of kindness of mine.

Allent : Then you are too kind Lady Kaine.  ( enters his house and closes the door ).

Kaine then later on turns to Heiji and Sybill.

Kaine : You guys lied to me ,( pouts ) why would you lie ?

Sybill : We didn't meant to , but I guess with this guy's looks the beans spilled .

Heiji : I just look like him that is all ,not my fault.

Carla : So does Daniel but only for a little.

Kaine : Well regardless you are the boy I am going to meet later on in the week. I will be hoping to know you better.

Heiji : Yes , If you accept me that is , I Heiji Seiren Fellini will take your hand in marriage, ( takes her hand and kisses her palm ) .

Sybill : Okay you two ,save it for the meeting .

Kaine : Huh !? Oh ok have a safe trip home ..

Heiji and Sybill leave with Daniel and Carla and head home.

While walking home they have a conversation.

Sybill : Never thought you actually go for such a girl actually Seiren.

Heiji : You missed it during the day , I saved her from falling in the fountain due to me scarring her.

Sybill : You scared her on purpose ?

Heiji : No , she scared  me I was lost in my thoughts when she asked me something. Plus I may have hugged her too soon .

Sybill : Heiji you can be daring sometimes.

Heiji : Yeah but ,I worry for Alice never seen her act that way.

Sybill : Not one time at all?

Heiji : Nope ! So this was kind a scary to see in person . ( laughs )

Sybill : I just hope Alice gets better from that it was something else.

Back with Allent and Serra at the house eating food.

Allent : Serra you shouldn't worry so much it will be bad for you and the child.

Serra : I tried not to cry so much but it just happened ,to think I was going to tell them the truth today. Alice... ( walks to her and caresses her hair) You are going to be a great sister , you didn't fail at all . In fact in my eyes you saved your brother by not leaving him alone.

Allent : Yes , I just hope they get excited about it too.

Serra : I just hope so too, Allent I worry about the Mito family will they accept another mouth to feed later on?

Allent : I suggest you keep eating and quit the worrying already . Alice is going to be a great sister and Mr. and Mrs. Mito wouldn't mind another help around the house.

Serra : So about what Alois told me when I hugged him ... Allent please pay attention too me.

Allent : I told you when we finish eating ,would you please take a seat and eat with me?

Serra: ( walks back to the table) Promise me you won't tell the kids after I tell you.
